I have 1 child, a girl. and for various reasons I want to give her a sister. I swayed to get her but obviously since she's my first I could never know if I would have had a girl anyway without swaying at all. Either way, the things I did for the sway clearly didnt make me have a boy...so it makes sense to just stick with the same methods... Right?

That's my husband's logic and it absolutely makes sense but at the same time, I'm feeling very confused. The sway methods I used are SO different to what I have read on here. I want to give the best sway I can. I don't know if I should incorporate some LE or just leave it alone.

What to you think?

What was it you did to sway the first time round? xx

Yes, can you give me more info about what you did?? Some of the old-skool sway tactics DO sway, it's just that they're perhaps less reliable. Then I can tell you what the science says,a nd you can make your own decisions from there.

Well I basically tried to follow the IG plan but I wasn't that strict about it. I also don't remember 100% what I did because in the beginning I tried to do everything right but I was having a hard time getting pregnant and ended up stopping certain things. For instance, when I actually got pregnant it was with doggy style (sorry if that's TMI) but I know that is not supposed to be good for swaying pink. I also used pre-seed (a lubricant that is supposed to help you get pregnant).

I ate a lot of plain Greek yogurt and frozen raspberries and strawberries, I had a whole lot of fake sugar in crystal light and adding it to my cereal and yogurt etc. I ate little to no red meat, bananas, potatoes or caffeine. Even though I ate lots of other things that were not girl diet approved I did that stuff I mentioned for a good 2-3 months.

I took my pre-natals, extra folic acid, magnesium, accidophilus, b6 and from AF to O I took extra calcium pills and cranberry.

I can't remember if I took sudaphed the round I got pregnant, but there were many cycles where I did. TMI again, I did all the stuff I was supposed to to make me dry up but I was so dry that I couldn't conceive and sex was actually quite painful so I gave up.

When you're on any restrictive diet for a long time, you're more likely to conceive a girl. IGD is a VERY restrictive diet!! I have concerns about the safety of IGD, I think LE is safer and easier to stick to, but IGD does sway pink due to its restrictive nature.

I personally don't think positions sway much at all.

Preseed has been very successful for blue sways and I would advise you drop that.

We have gotten poor results with probiotics and B6. I think both of them sway pretty strongly blue. I also recommend dropping the prenatals. If you aren't comfy with that, then you ~may~ be better off doing IGD again. LE is a more balanced diet and LE + prenatals may be too much nutrients.

I do not advise taking calcium for only two weeks, it's not safe. Either take it all the time or don't take it at all. It's really unhealthy to start and stop nutrients that way.

I like aspirin better than cranberry for safety reasons.http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-girl-best-practices/7086-how-lower-ph-via-supps-cran-baby-aspirin-aspartame-other-techniques.html

Do not take Sudafed when you are taking a blood thinner (both cran and aspirin are blood thinners.) I would prefer if no women ever took Sudafed but it's really important if you are on a blood thinner. You did it before and no ill effects but it's just not worht the risk - antihistamines do the same thing. DH can take a Sudafed 1-2 hours before attempt.

We have gotten best results with one attempt, so it's best to drop sway tactics that don't sway much but prevent pregnancy, and stick with things that really work.http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/25293-three-essays-swaying.html

Your former sway sounds like a good sway due to the diet, aspartame and cranberry. But i would certainly recommend you to do the adjustments AS suggested. Additionally, you can think of vitex and/or saw palmetto.

Maybe needless to say, but besides dropping your prenatals you must still take folic acid.

What are going to do with exercise?

I'm okay with stopping prenatals and just continuing with folic acid
