View Full Version : Ladies been on BCP, when did you ovulate?

Hi,
I have currently come off BCP, had AF, now on CD14, still waiting for OPK to turn positive. No other symptoms of ovulation. This is my first experience with BCP.
For those of you who have been on BCP, when did you ovulate?

Cauliflower I wouldn't even worry about O being a little "late" coming off BCP. I never actively TTC after going off the pill, but I remember having really weird cycles for a few months after I went off the pill. It took me a few months to resume normal cycles after coming off the pill. I'm sure this is why your O day is a little late. Keep doing your OPK tests and you'll O eventually. Good luck!!

3 positive OPKs today :) CD14. I am not temping so not sure how I will be able to pinpoint ovulation. Maybe continue to take OPKs?
However I have an appointment with the gynecologist, maybe she will be able to tell something by doing the ultrasound. Will have to see :)

I always went back to ovulating like normal around day 14-15. I had 3 girls coming off the pill.

Can I ask if you concieved first month off BCP with all three?

Good! If you got 3 +OPKs, I'd say go ahead and BD tonight. ;) Hopefully it will be your month.

Hopefully your gynecologist will be able to tell something if you're having an u/s done. Good luck!
