B6 Question

Hi ladies!!! I'm really concerned b/c I got AF today....that means my cycle was only 24 days and a 10 day leutal phase. My last cycle was 31 days and a 14 day leautal phase. The only thing I changed this cycle was adding B6. But I thought B6 was mainly for lengthen leutal phase......so I didn't think it would make it shorter.

Did anyone else have this problem when they started B6?? We are supposed to have our 2nd attempt in July and I'm really concerned about a 10 day leutal phase.......I know it's not good.

I'm a little confused on why you're taking it? Is it for health reasons? I don't think it's recommended for a girl sway. And if your LP is already the perfect length, I wouldn't want to mess with that at all.

I tried b6 for short LP and it shortened mine even more too. I've read for some it has the opposite effect!

This is what I did the month I ended up getting my BFP - maybe try it and see it it helps! My story of what I did is on the last page. Good luck!

B6 absolutely can screw up luteal phase. Shorter, longer, spotting the whole way thru, it does all kinds of stuff. You have no reason to take it if your LP is normal. Honestly, I have only seen it work for like 1 or 2 people anyway (to lenghten LP), and it's one of those things where your LP fixes itself in 3 months with B6 and a quarter-year without it...99 times out of 100 the body would have fixed the short LP anyway in the exact same amount of time.

Personally, I think B6 sways blue anyway and I really do not advise it.

Atomic.....thanks......I decided to try it b/c people were saying it raises progesterone. Obviously it was a big mistake. I want to stop taking it now.......but I think I read some where you have to wean off of it?? I've been taking 100 mg for like maybe 2 weeks......do I really need to wean off?? Can I do like 50 for a week and then stop altogher?? I was going to do an attempt in July and really dont want to miss it.
