Cheat once or twice a week? Or is that too much? I'm trying my best to not cheat on the LE diet and actually have been doing good the entire week ( I just started last Wednesday) but I love spending weekends with my family. For example, today I only had a 400 kcal breakfast/lunch at 10:00 a.m. and dinner at a restaurant with my hubby (5:00 p.m.) sour cream/ cheese enchiladas with pinto beans and rice. I know cheating is ok, but not sure if 1-2xs per week is too much? TIA

I totally wouldn't worry about that! I actually ate a delayed breakfast every day...usually 200-300 cals, but sometimes it would go over. I wasn't overly strict on fat or salt, either (I'm already thin). Mainly protein and sugar (because I have PCOS). Just do what works for you! It'll be so much easier to do long term, if you have to.

Thanks :) I'm over here freaking out because I have been doing so good for my first week, but I feel bad to not spend time with my hubby on the weekends at a restaurant or with family. I'm also thin 113. lbs..and try my best to skip breakfast and eat the amount that LE recommends.

I think it's fine I allowed myself one-two treats per fortnight, it's worse stressing about it because then ur t levels rise! Think about what you can do differently compared to when you conceived boys, diet, exercise bd timing.. Good luck x

With the understanding that I cannot truly say what is "ok" and what isn't for any one individual person, I think that you need to cheat however much you need to cheat - cheating has a PURPOSE in the LE Diet, and that's to make it easier to stick to the diet as much as you can. So if cheating 1-2 times a week means you stick to the diet the rest of the time, that's a good trade.
