Well we got back from our 12 week scan today and have a few pics to share...

Any thoughts on gender?

Pic 1 and 4 make me think boy. Quite surprised by so many girl guesses. I think there is an angle there and pic 4 shows a short boyish nub in my opinion.

Generally lovemy4 is very accurate. At least from what I see on here.

I would have guessed girl from pic three and boy from pics one and four. It's a draw for me. Good luck!

Pic 1 looks boy but its not a straight shot.

Pic 2 looks girly from the angle but the bulb at the tip makes me lean boy.

I think boy. 1st looks boy and angled, third looks a girly angle but I've seen one similar that was my friend's and I privately thought girl and she had a delivery room surprise boy (what she was hoping for). That said I can see it go either way. Gl x

I personally would recommend getting used to the idea of this being a boy, just in case this in fact will turn out to be a boy. If its a girl, then you will be celebrating, - no need to prepare yourself for this! :) Good Luck!

I was in the park today with my hubby and son and I felt so bad as there were some girl toddlers running around and I just yearned for a girl more then anything... I feel like an utter selfish pig for feeling this way :-(

I have officially gone GOOGLE mad and tried in VAIN to find one very similar to mine to no avail.

I had an early scan and according to them id be 11 weeks and 3 days at my 12 week scan... they said I was 12 weeks on the day so could possibly be no more then 12 weeks but possibly 11 weeks and a few days...

IM CLINGING ONTO ANY HOPE HERE!!!

This is getting really emotional [:'(]

I feel awful for feeling this way! Doesn't help that my auntie asked me what I thought I was having, I said another boy, and she respondd with "oh that's disappointing..." Took all my willpower not to cry!!!

Does NO ONE think girl anymore???

I wouldn't get my hopes up but I also wouldn't think all hope is lost KWIM? It isn't a glaringly obvious nub either way, and even if it was, there is always room for error especially this early. There isn't anything wrong with feeling a little down, but try not to get too caught up in these guesses, because they are just that, a guess. :)

The only real "pro" I think is Coldwater on Ingender. But even with her, this early it is just going to be an educated guess.

My guesses on the whole are mixed... yet I feel deflated as the scan pics looks just like my boys pics when I was pregnant with my son... I am debating paying for a private scan though this week so see if I can get a better nub shot!

I don't know if this will make you feel any better, but if you go through my posts i have some nub shots that look VERY boyish, and then others that look girly. As I have gotten further along it looks more and more like I am having a girl, although I am waiting until delivery to find out for sure. That is why I say, I wouldn't get yourself too worked up over this. Nub shots can be very tricky.

Hiya,

Well ive officially lost the plot :worry: im booking myself for ANOTHER private scan this weekend!!! I need another NUB picture and i'll be 13 weeks by then...

So prepare for more obsessing from me to come next week ladies!!!

In the meantime anyone who has had a guess already and said girl can you please tell me why.

Or if you haven't had a guess PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE hazard one!

Ask for a nub shot. If they don't know what this is, ask for a sagittal plane shot. Or shot of the 'angle of the genital tube'

Exactly how I feel too! I think if they ask why I will just say there is a theory of gender based on the shot and its a bit of fun to pass the time until we find out for sure at the 20w scan.
