Hi there

Im really having trouble this weekend with my 3 meals. I've been snacking all day, some days I just find im hungrier than others. I hope this doesnt hurt my sway.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to beat this or something i can have between meals that wont be bad for my girl sway?

Thanks!

Sorry aprilbride, it can be very difficult. I have found keeping water nearby helps to keep hunger at bay as well as trying to keep occupied/busy so it doesn't come to mind. HTH x

Maybe try keeping snacking foods completely out of the house. Keep spaghetti, rice.. Things that take time to cook. That way the snacking appeal is gone.

You could use My Fitness Pal too.

Out of sight out of mind is a good stragety to use when dieting. If you must snack, try an ice cold glass of diet soda or crystal light and a few rice cakes. I found that the coldness and carbonation of the diet soda helped me from feeling hungry. I would often have a diet coke or crystal light around 3PM when I was doing LE.

Don't make yourself crazy if you find you have to have a snack, have one and keep it LE friendly. Myfitnesspal is a great *FREE* tool to help you stay on track. Good luck!

I make myself an iced coffee with a ton of ice (makes it large) and a Tbl of vanilla creamer. It is 35 calories and takes me a long time to drink. I found crystal light iced tea works well too.

I just wanted to say I'm in the same predicament. I've been on the diet since March and it's getting so old! Being vegetarian isn't that tough but staying away from sweets-especially when I'm more hungry that usual because of LE diet-has been nearly impossible. I bought treats to entice my youngest ds to potty train but so far I'm the only one eating them. :( Today is my last day of my period so I told myself it's my last day of eating Hershey's kisses and fruity tootsie rolls (aka his potty treats). Tomorrow it's on to Crystal Light and rice cakes if I need a snack. So you are not alone. I don't know if this is saying much, but I figured that my cheat foods are completely devoid of nutrients so at least I have that going for me, plus the sugar rush is probably causing my body to pump in insulin to lower blood sugar overall. But I'm sure this still isn't best practice for the LE diet. Atomic, what's your take on sugary, non-nutritious cheat foods?

You can have sugary non-nutritious foods on LE Diet as long as you don't have PCOS/insulin resistance. They're fine as long as you eat them with meals rather than nibbling one every 15 min. throughout the day (because your blood sugar would go up and stay elevated because you have sugar coming in constantly)

Only if you are following LE Diet. I believe snacking is allowed on IG and French diets.
