Comments regarding DW's diet changes-
After being diagnosed with high levels of prolactin for unexplained reasons I decided to go off the LE diet and go on a calorie controlled, fat reduced diet as prescribed by my doctor to loose weight as they believed it would help. I was also prescribed metformin + Orlistat (commonly known as Alli, but in a higher dose than over the counter) to stop some of the fat absorption.
If diet was used, length of time before attempt?
LE diet was used from Jan - Feb 2013, Orlistat diet was used from May - July 2013 (BFP). In between I used normal healthy eating.
Did you skip breakfast regularly?
Yes
Did DH change his diet with you?
No
Comments regarding DH's diet-
DH smokes, drinks coffee like it's water and generally has a horrible diet. He thinks vegetables will kill him and fruit are just there to look pretty in the bowl.
DId you consume alcohol? No

DId you try to limit caffeine?
No, I drink caffeine regularly
Any Diet Details?
- Decreased red meat intake (possible 1-2 month) and ate mostly fish or white meat.
- Not too much dairy due to lactose intolerance
- Caffein from Pepsi max only

Nothing magical - just general healthy eating. Each meal contained no more than 5g of fat per 100g (as prescribed by Doctor)

I did snack, but predominantely on fat free yoghurt and fruit. The month I got pregnant wasn't my best month and I did slip a bit on the sugary path, but generally I was a pretty good girl!

Things that make me feel great about my sway:
-
Things that make me nervous about my sway:
Except for my diet this is very much just like when I conceived DS2. We weren't actually trying as we were waiting for the referral to gyn. ward for fertility treatment. It's not a great sway and I'm afraid it sways more blue than pink!
Things worth mentioning: I did find that during the time I was on the LE diet my abnormal hormone levels (ie testosterone, progesterone) stabilized and became normal.

Thank you Dream =D And thank you for remembering me!

I felt I had to step back from all the baby making and dreaming - it was starting to tear me down a little bit, so I'm glad to be back and hoping for a pink sticky bean too! But yea, I think I did a more blue sway than pink =/

I'm doing well health wise. They never found the reason for my high levels of prolactin, so believe my body may have experienced some type of extreme form of stress that I didn't notice. Happily no tumour!!

Just been to my first scan today - good strong heart beat and measured spot on 6 weeks! Only 14 more weeks until we hopefully find out if its a boy or girl :P

I did some form of cardio every day in order to loose weight. Some days I'd do pure cardio, other days I'd do part cardio and part pilates/yoga (this is due to a hip condition that I find easier manageable if I do this). I walked an average of 5 miles every evening at a fast pace to get my heart pumping and used dvd's at home.
