I had been taking 2 cranberry pills a day that are 300 mg each, but I just realized when looking through some swaying attempts that it seems most people are taking WAY more than that - like 10,000 mg?? Where do you get such high potency cranberry, and should I take it?

Your pills are 300mg but what is the fresh fruit equivalent? That is what people are referring to when they say they are taking 10,000mg. It should say the equivalent on the bottle. If not, try calling the company (I haven't had luck doing that but some have).

What Chicky said - look on the bottle and see waht the fresh fruit equivalent is, and that is the number to go off of.
It is dangerous to take TOO much cran so make sure you have your numbers right on that.

Oh, I see - hmmm, mine doesn't have a fruit equivalent on the bottle. I might have to research this a bit. I have another type that is 500 mg and the back says 25,000 mg fruit equivalent, but they contain gelatin. Is that a big deal? If I take that one, should I just take one pill per day (500 mg/25,000 mg fruit equivalent)?

Yes, just take the one pill for the 25,000 equivalent. The gelatin is not a big deal, it's how they make the capsule.
