Hi all,

I've been TTC pink for some time now and it's just not happening! My cycles are crazy and this cycle is no exception!! I would be very grateful for any input on my chart - have I ovulated?? I have been doing digital OPKs - all negative so far (except one on day 18 which showed an error). I have just started testing again - CD 25 was negative but CD26 (today) was a flashing smiley (indicates high fertility) these are the clearblue advanced digital tests - flashing smiley is supposed to be followed by solid smiley (peak fertility). I'm confused - have I already ovulated?

Please see my chart below...any thoughts?

I would say you O'd on day 18 or 19 - same as where FF is putting your crosshairs. You got an error on day 18? What kind of error?

I think I applied too much urine so I got an error message in the morning - that was my last test :-/.

I bought some more later that day but the result was negative - I havent had a positive since.

Fingers crossed it was 18/19 - thank you Anchor :).

Firstlu, I'd buy yourself some cheapy ones and that way you won't be spending what must be a fortune ;)

When you have the cheapy ones, test 2 times a day from whenever you are testing now - you will see a fade-in usually and you won't be using up loads of expensive ones each day. Perhaps when you start seeing a fade in, use the digital ones alongside?

As for when you ovulated, I would also agree with the 18th, but then I'm convinced mine this month isn't right as I never get a +opk on ovulation day, and I had awful cramps the Saturday, and cervix was more favourable.

Are you also monitoring cervix and CM? It may help.

I answered this via PM but just for anyone who is curious:

Three possibilities seem likely to me.

1)poster Oed CD 18 when FF puts crosshairs.

2)poster has not yet Oed and is about to. No positive OPK and the fact that temps are really not very different before and after the day that FF marked as O make me think this is possible.

3)poster is pregnant and the dip 6-7 DPO is implantation, the pos OPK is from pregnancy and we should expect to see temp rise in triphasic pattern.

I can't say which of these options is correct without more data, but those three possibilities appear to me.

What's a fade in?

some people's OPK gradually darken before becoming truly positive, it can be a warning that O is approaching. but not everyone gets this and not everyone gets it every month.
