14 week u/s pointed to boy, 20 week u/s leaning towards girl. . . .need another opinion here. :-)

I had a funsies ultrasound in Illinois and was led to believe that my little one was a boy, which fell in line with my thoughts and feelings. However, I had the anatomy scan at 20 weeks and the tech said that she was "pretty sure" then "99.9" sure that it was a little girl.

Although I know that she is good at her job, I just am not feeling it. Yes, I want a 10 finger and 10 toed baby with all body parts in the correct places, but I am just not 100% in agreement with her.

Can you guys look and see if I am going totally bonkers or am just a whacked out preggo?

I am sorry, I dont know why each of the pics double posted. The first and third are the 14 week elective ultrasound and the second and fourth are the anatomy scan (19 weeks, 5 days).

I can see 3 lines which makes me think girl too - but there seems to be a penis looking thing sticking out too. Can anyone else see that? Would a girl at 20 weeks have that?

I think all the pics look girly....at 14weeks its still changing from a 'nub' into a penis or vagina....and I think the 14w potty shots you have look like swollen girly bits....at 20w everything down there is well and truly formed and I'm sure the tech got a really good look :) congrats on your little girl!!

I have no idea about the 14 week shot. But in the 20 week shot the legs are too close together to make a good guess. Were the legs that close together the entire scan? It's 50/50 from me. I'm sorry:(

I think even the 14w ones look girly. My sons at 14 weeks had more of a ball-stick or turtle formation, less three lines. I think we are seeing swollen parts at 14w and it is a girl. Although I do agree the 19 week ones are not th best shot, I am thinking your tech saw more than that picture gives away. I would cautiously expect pink, but if you have the option of another scan, I would want to confirm :)

I would say too, 3 lines look like girl, but then theres a stick out bit which makes me think boy? Maybe go and have a elective 3D scan?

I already commented on in gender. I'd go for an elective scan.

I had an elective scan at 14 weeks and there were no sticking out bits. However, we've seen it all on here! Your later shot is not the greatest, but the tech must have seen enough to say girl. I would have another gender scan just for the peace of mind. 3D images look like photographic images and you will see for yourself. GL!

Apparently, the first tech from last week was in a hurry and didnt want to go back for a second look. Today, the second tech (at another location) did take the time to look. At first, she saw what the first tech saw and when she looked again, THERE WERE BOY PARTS!
