Smiley's 13 week nub pics. What's your guess?

UPDATED on pg 3 Not sure if nub was captured in these pics. Tech was being cranky and would not guess but did give me a great screen shot of a long flat forked nub. She, of course, did not print this picture. (she actually said the "nub" theory was not proven) The Dr. came in to look and gave a guess of GIRL! What do you ladies think? Is the nub captured in these shots? I was 13 weeks and baby measured 13.2 weeks. Thank you!124971249812499

None of those are showing a nub, to my somewhat untrained eyes. But the screen capture of a long forked nub that is flat is pretty promising for a girl, as is the guess from the doc. Hoping its what you want :)

Thanks for looking at mine... I cant be sure if I see a nub... sorry... there is a straight line going out which could suggest girl... if that's the nub and not bone though... sorry hun I cant be more helpful... may a nub expert on here will take a peek... they are great on here!!!

In that third shot, see the white bright line seemingly cutting through the leg? That should be the nub shouldn't it? It's not a normal perspective but I think that's what you are seeing there. In which case my guess is girl because its nice and flat running parallel to the spine.

I was thinking that might be the nub too. Also maybe the thing sticking out at the bottom of the 2nd pic. Such a bummer that she didn't print the perfectly clear nub shot we saw on screen:( Dr. seemed clear based on the nub she saw that it looked like a girl but I won't be satisfied until I know for sure.

There may be a hint of a girl nub in the last image. Also from your description of the nub and the dr's prediction it sounds likely that you have a pink bundle on the way!

I totally understand what you mean re not being satisfied until you know!

That 2nd pic def doesn't show the nub. It's too zoomed in, only seeing the head and chest and a tiny bit of tummy.

I would say between what you saw on screen, what the doc said, and what we can see in the 3rd pic, its pretty likely a girl!

See if you can get ELP to weigh in, dream said she's very knowledgable.

I have to say off of the original posted bottom pic I can't help wondering if thats a boy nub blended in with the leg bone? The white line looks quite short for 13 weeks? I've drawn on what I think I'm seeing, but a clearer pic pf pic 3 would be Ace Smiley!!

Smiley, is on the real pic what I've drawn definitely part of the leg bone and just a blurred trick for me:) I have to admit I've spent the last 5 years searching for blue nubs on my own pics so may well be seeing them amongst the shadows lol:bigsmile:

Thanks I'll to post another one. I'm not seeing anything like that in the original print outs but I agree it does look short in this pic. It was def sticking out from the bottom of baby in person and the one thing the tech did say was that it was completely parallel to spine.

I would too! I have my next scan at 15 weeks and am worried its too soon to definitively tell! But yours is so clear at 16.2! Congrats again! Did you go out and spend too much on girls clothes immediately?

Yes! lol There is a children's boutique down the street from the ultrasound place and I forced DH to stop on the way home lol. Now he is making me sell all my boy clothes before shopping again. He's getting nervous about me shopping:)

Just a scan at my obstetrician. Where I am they dont offer elective gender scans until 20 weeks which is both pointless (thats when the anatomy scan is anyway) and ridiculous (plenty of places in our larger city offer it at 15/16 weeks). I would totally pay!
