View Full Version : Help! My sway: should I add Vitex and/or SP?

Hi! I would greatly appreciate some input. :)

I am expecting AF in a couple days and was considering adding Vitex and/or SP to my sway next month. Is that too short of a time for it to have an impact? I usually O on CD21 so my cycles are long already.

Sway: I am on the LE diet (it will be a total of 5 weeks by attempt date, but I really don't have any weight to lose so I can't afford to be on it too long). I was planning on using fiber, zyrtec, baby aspirin and rephresh (24-48 hr before attempt). Still undecided on BD plan...

The reason I am considering adding vitex or SP is because I suspect I have high testosterone and with only being on the diet for a short time I thought this would be the best way to lower it? Also concerned I am doing too much and really would like to get pregnant relatively soon.

Okay, enough rambling...thoughts?
THANK YOU!

I took both - i figured that it couldnt hurt even if i was only on them for a short time. Also, i wasnt a huge fan of pep tea so SP was a better option! Will find out in about month if weeks if it worked.

Thanks Emily and Waiting4Daisy!

Did it effect your O date the first month taking it?

As far as I know it did not affect my o but opks have never worked properly for me so I wasn't tracking with them. My cycles remained 28 days long and because I was regular I only took AF to O. However, I did notice that I began spotting the Monday or Tuesday before I got AF on the Wednesday. I'm not 100% sure the vitex caused it but it seems the most likely culprit. By cm I think I still ovulated cycle day 14 or pretty close. If you use opks you could monitor much more strictly.

I really would be tempted to PM Atomic and ask. She knows your plan, health, etc. and know what would best work for you, including any conflicts with suppliments. Hope you come to a decision soon x

I put them into your plan for you to start after ovulation in this month and continue to 1-2 days before you expect to ovulate, or positive OPK, whichever comes first. So since you are expecting AF at any time, I woudl go ahead and start them now, provided you are 110% sure you are not pg.

Plan is complete and has been sent in to be posted in your private forum.
