We dont LOVE any of these in fact we are not overly keen on any of them but with 3 boys already that we struggled to pick names for we are completely stuck !!
We like short names that cant really be shortened so so far we have :

James ( Hubbys name and dh dads name .... family tradition )
Joel ( James, Owen, Ellis, Liam ..... all in age order spells Joel ) only reason for this name is the meaning !
Leo ( Liam, Ellis and Owen ) u get the gist !!
Dylan
Ryan
Jack
Elliott

Surname is Grant

Opinions welcomed.

I quite like Dylan and Ryan (neither of which my DH likes). My DH middle name is James (so thinking maybe Jamie as a potential boy name).

I adore the name James, it sounds terrible with our last name and is also the name of a horrible person LOL so I could never use it. I think eveyrone should name their baby James! :)

Sweet baby James  lol!! It's ds2's middle name & he was kind of named for James Taylor as he was born to one of his songs.

I love Elliot, but agree it's very similar to Ellis. Joel is nice though :)

I know it's not on your list but I Love the name Seth! We have very similar sounding boy names and Seth would go well with yours too. My boys are Ethan, Liam, and Seth and we are very happy with the names because they sound great together!

Sushikitty and thorz awesome boy names. I'm keeping an ear out for a boy's name if this is ds4.

From your list I like Leo and Elliott. The others I'm not too keen on.

We are struggling with boys names too - only one my OH likes is Seth.

My favourites are:
Jasper
Elliott
Emmett
Leo
Luca
Elijah

Our boys are Tristan Alexander & Noah Theodore.

Yea that seem to be a recurring theme - all women I've spoken who've loved Jasper has said their OHs werent keen on it! Stupid men! :P

Love the logic behind Joel and I think it goes really well with your surname and the other boys' names. My favs at the mo are Jasper, Arthur and Bertie (short for something with "bert" in it). DH likes Jasper too so we might go for that. My mum was pushing Damian, Toby and Sebastian the other day, if you want more ideas. Oh and DH and I love Napoleon but aren't brave enough to go for it!

My ds1 is Joseph (joe) so I'm a bit bias also love Noah that's my ds2 ;-)

What about Lucas? I like Liam but feel like maybe you're finding reasons to love it not really loving it?!

Ps I've always thought your gonna need a pinky name anyway - how's that list?

Love this thread. Having such a hard time as I am having baby boy #4. Already have a Talon, Henry, and Charlie. We conceived on St. Patty's(too many green beers:)) so was looking for a Irish name that fit but can't find one. Surname Busch. Love the name James, but good friend already used it:) My siblings also have 7 boys total, so lots of names used up. This is going to be hard:)

By the way, I think Joel is a fabulous name for your brood and love the meaning behind it.
