I have had two dreams about my baby. The first was right when I conceived. The second was last night, while we were saying our prayers I asked God to send me a dream about my baby to give me some peace that baby is doing OK in there. I know that sounds so silly, but that is my relationship with God. Well I woke up remembering the most vivid dream ever, that I gave birth to a healthy baby and was just admiring the baby who had just been born when suddenly I realized it had a pink onesie and I announced to the nurses, "I have a daughter!! This is my baby girl!" (maybe I didn't know the gender before birth??) and I sobbed loudly and didn't care who saw me. It was seriously so real. Of course I hope it's a sign, but I'm sure it could also be my heart influencing my dreams. :)
Do you dream about your baby?

I am not even pregnant yet and last night I had a dream that I was bringing a baby girl home. I was a little sad when I woke up and realized it was a dream. I thought both of my boys were going to be girls but honestly when they arrived I couldn't have cared less that they were boys...they were perfect! I would love a girl but will not at all be disappointed with another boy. I do enjoy the responsibility of raising boys...some day they will be good men who will marry good women...and then I'll get my girl! :) Best of luck to you.

I always dream of a girl but have boys. I've only so far dreamt of my MIL having a baby girl lol which won't be happening! Dreams are random x

I know how emotional and vivid these dreams can be in pregnancy. However, spiritual fathers usually recommend not to take them very seriously and certainly not to act upon them, simply because its unknown to us humans where these dreams come from. They can be from our daily thoughts or biggest hopes, from God or from His biggest enemy. Dreams of having a daughter certainly didn't help me with GD when I was pregnant with DS3..
Hope you'll get your girl soon!

Oh yes, I don't put much stock in it and certainly don't take it as divine truth (though it could be!). We plan to adopt a girl if this baby is another precious son. So I believe I will have a daughter at some point, there is no pressure for me to have one right now. But it is fun to talk about. :) And I did dream vividly about boys with both my boys, before I knew their genders.

I had never had a gender dream before my last pregnancy. And in that one, I had at least four, possibly more.
The first was me out with literally a mini-doll-size baby (in a mei tai, lol) and we were shopping for Fourth of July dresses and I couldn't find any that fit her. (she was like 2" tall).
The second was me at the hospital with my baby girl. And we were getting ready to take her going-home pictures on one of those picture machines our hospital has. I had her in a cute dress and then I said "wait, I need to double check you are a girl before we take these." And when I looked, she had turned into a boy.
The third was a crazy-vivid dream of me finding out the gender (girl) at a sonogram and I was so, so, so happy. I woke up with that feeling of utter contentment, but obviously realized it was a dream and I didn't really know what we were having.
The fourth was the funniest. My husband went to find out what we were having without my consent or knowledge at the time. He went with my brother and his girlfriend who were also "expecting." I was irate when he came home and told me they both found out what they were having. He said "one of us is having a girl and one of us is having a male pitbull puppy." Then he went on to say how happy my brother was to be expecting a puppy instead of a baby. LOL!
And then I found out about a week after the last dream that were expecting a girl. And I doubled checked at about five sonograms and asked about 5 minutes after her birth, since I didn't see parts and no one had said anything. I was a little relieved that it wasn't the first thing on my mind when she was born though. It was more like an "oh, wait, is it really a girl?" They just laughed and were like "yeah, totally a girl."
So yeah, I did dream about it being a girl. And they were accurate. But I had never had a gender dream before. And it could have very easily been my subconscious playing tricks on me. Clearly, with the gender-switching dream it was something I was thinking about a lot. I never had another gender dream after I knew she was a girl. I did, however, have a very real dream that she was the antichrist. Freaked me out entirely.

I had a dream about the baby a few nights ago. I went and changed the diaper to find out that SHE was a HE! That dream freaked me out a little. I have an appointment with my midwives today and am going to ask if I might get another scan somewhere else just to make sure. My initial anatomy scan at about 18 weeks was a disaster but we paid for a private scan at 14 weeks, where I was told I had a "textbook girl." I'll have to wait and see.

BabyGirl4me, I think that is just your conscience playing tricks on you! But it wouldn't hurt to get another just to be sure. :)
