View Full Version : Exercise when you are really out of shape?

I used to exercise a lot and I have always been in fairly good shape (even though I was also overweight). But over the last 2-3 years I have stopped working out except very sporadically. Now I am really out of shape, but the girl stats and sway stories have convinced me that exercise is the way to go. However, I don't think I CAN workout for an hour. I am wondering if circuit training with light weights followed by some high intensity cardio would help because the weights would burn out the carbs and then the cardio would start burning fat and muscle sooner?

as long as it is intense for YOU and goes on for 60 min that is all that matters. Walking is fine.

I do not recommend weights except for those who are very fit to begin with and need weights to get their heartrate up.
