Overdue now! u/s pic at 40+1 days

I'm overdue now by 1 day and baby has shown no signs of wanting to come out and play! So fed up and worried all the time. I had a fetal well being scan today to check baby's okay in there, baby already weighs 8 pounds 4 oz! I hope she arrives soon as none of my boys were that big!

Oh, so adorable, look at those cute chubby cheeks! I am not sure a ultrasound scan gives you a very accurate weight estimate. I went 1 week overdue with ds2 and ds3 and both times was told to expect big babies. They were just around 7 1/2 pounds when they arrived!
I guess it's a good time to start trying all the old wives methods to bring on the baby. Gardening helped me getting ds3 out 1 day before they were going to induce me.

I had a scan at 40+3 with des 3 and was told he was 9lb 2 - he came out at 41+4 weighing 7lb 14 so don't take too much notice of what they say weight wise !!
