Ultrasound techs! Nt scan

My insurance didn't cover an nt scan but I was looking up 11 week ultrasounds and comparing them to mine does my baby's look normal? I'm being a worry wart :(12664

Meaning the nuchal fold I know you can't measure it but in some I found on google it's very obvious

I'm not a tech, but if they were doing an 11week ultrasound, why wouldn't they measure the nuchal folds??? Did the tech tell you everything looked okay??
I know they also look for nasal bones as a soft marker, too...your baby has a pretty nose, so that should give you some comfort...lol.

Insurance companies suck.

She said everything looked great but I do not remember her measuring the fold. I have a 14 week scan where I think I see the nasal bone but I'm not 100% sure12667

Even if you were not officially doing an NT scan, if the tech had seen anything to worry about he/she would have suggested a follow up. Why dont you ring the clinic and ask them if the tech thinks it is necessary?

We are all paranoid when it comes to our babies! Blame it on the hormones:)
