BD timing question/issue

I am suppose to ovulate on August 23 which is a Friday. My husband will be out of town Monday night, home Tuesday night, and then out of town Wednesday night, home Thursday and friday night. Would BDing Thursday night and Friday night be enough?

Would it be a bad idea to BD Thursday night, Friday morning, and Friday night?

The current advice on BD for boy is go for it about every 2-4 days until first +OPK, then try to get in 3 attempts in 24 hours. Are you doing OPKs? They're not absolutely necessary if you you've got perfectly regular cycles, but they do help pinpoint O.

I haven't been using opks but I plan on getting them. My cycles have been a little off so I think opks are a must. Thanks.
