Hi ladies,
Anybody have the Maternit21 test done?
They told me they would have the results back in 10 days to 2 weeks...
Has anybody gotten them sooner??
I'm so anxious to know that everything is okay...the wait is driving me nuts!!! Today will be day 8.
Thanks!!!

That makes the wait more tolerable at least.
Praying I hear good news & soon.

It's definitely accurate. Way more than an ultrasound. They are actually looking at the DNA.

Due to get my blood drawn next Friday. Yeah, I've heard 7-10 business days. Right now that doesn't seem so bad, but ask me in a week or so, and I bet I'll feel differently! Good luck! :)

It IS forever...but very worth it. I have read on other forums people who have received their results had to call their docs to get them and some have had them in for days. Fortunately my docs called first thing, but depending on yours, you might want to check with them and let them know you want to know asap.

I've never heard of this test I don't think it's available in Australia. I wish we did have it sounds great!

They've recently introduced the Panorama test to Aussie which is similar. I was offered it because of dodgy bloods at 12 weeks even though my USS was ok. It was expensive (about 1200 dollars) but reassuring. You can indicate whether or not you want to know gender. I was told 14 working days (I think) but the blood had to go to the states.

I know of somewhere in Perth that does it. If we can get it in Wait Awhile WA, you'll be able to in the east. :)

The harmony blood test is available via Monash Ultrasound in Melbourne. I think it's $900. Not sure how accurate it is.

LOL...They're in my chart, so I told my DH if we decide we HAVE to know, we can always find out!! :)
Ugh...this is such a relief...I read WAY too much on the Internet about test results...and being 41, the perinatologist quoted lots of numbers to me last visit...freaked me out.
I am just SO HAPPY my baby is okay!!!
Thanks so much, Mrs. P!!! Will definitely keep you posted!!! XOXO

Oh Beadin yay yay yay to healthy bambino.
I kinda selfishly want you to find out so I can live vicariously through you. Totally respect any decision you make though. I think if I knew that information was available I'd have to know (here it is like impossible to find out gender without paying for a scan as they won't tell you).
