Hello

There is obviously a wealth of information on here but my head is hurting!!

I have a son, I ovulate really late in my cycle and still had a boy if that makes any different?

Other than that I am desperate for a girl. We are going to TTC in November so I'm thinking now is the time to start.

What are the basics of the diet sway so like...what is OK to eat and what is not OK to eat. Just the basics?

Also what other little tricks are there?

Hi there.
If I were you I would buy a swaying plan. That saves you the headache of trying to read all the information and decide on you own
Good luck

I really would like too but seriously can't afford it right at the moment as we just paid for our wedding. Hence waiting a bit longer to try to conceive.

So far I've just got these pointers

-Calcium and magnesium supplments
-No salt
-Pasta/bread are good
-Eat chicken, no red meat
-Use KY Jelly
-Exercise
-Doggy style sex
-No breakfast
-Lots of water/diet soda
-Piriton/Claritin
-Cranberry Juice
-Eat loads of dairy

Only thing I'm confused on is do you have sex early or late in the cycle for a girl?

What you have outlined seems a lot more like an ingender approach than a LE approach. I looked into both and decided to go with LE. I also bought a plan and if you can find the cash, I would seriously consider it. From what you have written I would NOT take calcium or magnesium (look at the essays on these supplements in the complete index), NOT eat loads of dairy.

Keep your calories between 1500-1800, protein between 40-50g and fat 25g-60g. Skip breakfast.

Replace KY with sylk if you can get it. Think about using rephresh. Go completely vegetarian if you can.

Only exercise if you can do it for 60-70 mins for an hour 6-7 times a week and only intense cardio.

This is what I have learnt from all of my reading. Hope this helps.

Sorry, just noticed your last question. Atomic recommends a 7-10 day abstain with one attempt at a positive OPK.

Good luck!

This depends on your DH's age I think it's if he's over 35 abstaining is not recommended

Hi and welcome!

Late ovulation can be caused by a couple different scenarios, one may mean you are slightly more boy friendly and the other may mean slightly more girl friendly. If you have PCOS or insulin resistance that may mean you're slighlty more boy-friendly, if ovulation is delayed due to illness, stress, or hypothalmic amenorrhea that may mean you are slightly more girl-friendly.

here is the short version of the diet http://genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-conceive-girl/16780-low-everything-diet-nutshell-version.html
