12w1d is this a nub?

Hi ladies,

I didn't sway this time, but of course I'm still curious about the gender! Is this a nub? The skull looked girly to me, but I'm not good with that theory!!

At first glance I thought it was but is it part of the umbilical cord? See that arch that goes right above what you think is the nub? That looks like the umbilical cord to me. It looks like the nub is there but is right in line with the cord, so hard to tell. It's terrible trying to figure this stuff out isn't it??

haha No problem....but what do I know!! I'm going crazy trying to find out the gender because we aren't finding out this time what we are having. I made a deal with my husband that if we found out with our first that we wouldn't with our second and that was the stupidest thing to ever say! haha Because I really want to know! So now I'm analyzing every ultrasound pic of mine from head to toe. haha

I don't know if that is the nub or not, it looks like it starts too far back to be the nub

Thank you, Sway!! I'm not completely sure either, dloui! But I will say during the scan, I felt like I got a few glimpses of a really girly nub :)

Waffles, so pleased to be seeing this:) Baby is gooorgeous!! As for the nub I am wondering if thats a boy nub turning up at the end of the top pic and the second pic head looks boyish to me aswell, I'm afraid my guess is a clear 50/50 for you, but I know this little one is absolutely welcome and perfect whoever they are:) Cant wait for your next scan!!
