Is this the nub? Clueless and dying to know!

If you look between the legs there is this thing sticking out...I tried to circle it. And it looks like a pitch fork. Is that the nub? I think I messed up and submitted the picture twice...sorry if I did. I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

you can't see that little thing down in between the legs??? It looks like it's pointing up toward the leg. What the heck am I looking at then!? hahaha This is torture! I appreciate your reply anyways!
