Vinegar douche

Ok so I know this site doesn't recommend douching for swaying purposes however after reading a lot of posts about mothers and grandmothers using it back in the day (including my mother who had 3 girls no boys and was a habitual vinegar doucher) and getting a suprising amount of girl babies. I am thinking about trying it and then if I dont get pregnant within a few months I can eliminate it. This is what I might try.. using the vinegar douche once a week on an off day that I am not using resphresh and stopping I get my +OPK. Any thoughts?

You can't use vinegar douche & Rephresh together...
The Rephresh will lower your ph automatically for 3days...the vinegar will lower it for a much shorter period of time & will interfere with the Rephresh.

Honestly, there's a LOT of debate over whether low ph actually sways anyway.

I think low pH sways by lowering sperm count, which sways pink.
Rephresh should be enough.

My recommendation for douching is the storebought V and W douche 4-6 hours before intercourse. Nothing after.

I don't think what you are suggesting will get ya anythign in terms of swaying and will still carry all the risks and downsides that douching does.

Oh I def. believe it sways pink, but it also reduces odds of conception and has risks associated with it (both in terms of safety and your sway) that ~to me~ are higher than I would like. That story of grandma and her daughters and her douches excludes the people who ended up infertile with PID from douching and also those who it took 5 years to get pg.

You avoid some of this by using the storebought douche, both for sanitation and also to avoid the whole insane mixing/measuring project that may send testosterone levels skyrocketing. And if you use the douche a few hours before and not after, it's a lot better odds of getting pg.

By "mixing/measuring" I am referring to the Ingender stuff where people were literally making their own distilled water, pasteurizing their own egg whites, crushing calcium tablets with mortar and pestle, doing months of practice and pH testing to find out precisely how much lime, etc. My advice - don't do that. No better odds of success than we are seeing without it.

Funny story...
Since only Atomic knows me irl...

I was swaying for Ds3 & did the vinegar douche...made it myself & used a bag.
So I come to bed looking all sexy & stuff & my DH says, "It smells like salad dressing in here!!"LOL!!!
So I said, "Just shut up & go!" LOL!!
Annnnd he did & the next morning he told me that "it burned." LOL!!!
I'm sure it goes without saying, I did NOT get pregnant that month... ;)


The other thing with douches is they can cause ectopic pregnancies.
