Had a psychic reading today...

I was driving home after dropping ODS off at church camp, and just for fun I decided to pop in to the local psychic who advertises $10 palm readings. I told her I am 9 weeks pregnant (and I had my 18 month old with me). It only lasted about 5 minutes but she read my palm and told me a bunch of things about my life that are true, such as that I am an artistic/creative person (I own a successful photography business and dabble in many other creative hobbies), my family will be receiving money in a few years through land (my in-laws own a few homes and they will pass them to us), and that I've always wanted to have 2 boys and 2 girls (true, but I would be delighted with just two boys and a girl...and if this baby is another sweet boy, we hope to adopt a girl). She didn't say I *would* have 4 kids. The last thing she said was that she was very confident that this baby is going to be a beautiful baby girl. She told me to come by when I have confirmed the gender. She seemed to be so sure of herself! I hope she is right. ;)

I know it's just for fun, but I've had my palm read a few times and they always tell me I have a strong reading and that they pick up on a level of clairvoyance that I have. I've always had very strong intuition about events and people, and apparently this makes it easier to read my palm to the psychics I've visited. I don't tell them anything and I am careful not to gesture or show emotion about what they say, but it is so interesting what I have been told through a few simple palm readings. I am a faithful Christian, but I do think some people can foretell the future and it fascinates me.

Has anyone else had a reading that revealed your baby's gender or something else about your family's future?

Goodluck, I hope this is your girl. I have never been sure about people being able to tell the future before but my Sister saw a phsycic before I was even pregnant and she was told that her Sisters next birth would be a multiple one. Crazy aye! I wondered why she was so adament that I was having twins and after my 12 week scan confirmed it, she told me about the reading.

I had 3 psychics who predicted that my 3rd will be a boy and they were wrong, but they to were so accurate with other aspects of my life, sometimes they just get it wrong, I hope they're right for you.

I think some people do have psychic ability but I also think the majority of people who advertise or use it as a business to make money are fakes.

My good friend went to 4 different psychics with very good reputations in our area, who all told her she was having a baby girl. Her mum in Australia even went to 2 psychics who both said the baby was a girl. Nope, all boy!
