That story makes me think 'oh oh!' in terms of hoping my partner wont have boy number 7 even if we sway pink but since the family seems strongly catholic and put their family size up to God and don't use contraception, I like to think they wouldn't believe in swaying.

I think most of the people who have the superbig families like Duggars or Arndts would not sway because they believe in God's Will. I would love to ask them, since the Arndts have the 14 boys with only one girl and the Duggars have a long run of boys and then a long run of girls.
