When would I know I am pregnant?

So I was expecting to have my period yesterday. It didn't come. So I am hoping it will come today. I am a littler concerned because on Thursday DH and I had sex and he didn't pull out. They weren't very boy friendly conditions. I was on top. Anyways because I was expecting my period on Monday I was thinking "Oh I can't get pregnant 4 days before my period." Well now that my period isn't here I am not sure how many days before my period that I had sex. I would ask you what my chances are of being pregnant but I know no one really know the answer to that. So what I am asking is when would it show up on a pregnancy test? I took one this morning and it was negative. My period was July 15th. And I am not sure when I ovulated this month .. I normally ovulate on the 14th or 15th.

Would not show up yet on pg test. I would wait 10 days after intercourse, then retest at 12 dpo and 14 dpo (normally I would say 12, 14, and 16 but I'm sure you're dying of curiosity so I"m bending my rules a bit.) if no BFP and no AF then you should see your doctor at that point for a more sensitive test, occasionally you can be pg and just doesn't show up.

I am going to be so upset if I am pregnant right now. I wanted to have a really good boy sway!!!! Are the chances slim that I would get pregnant that late in my cycle? :/

It would be unlikely to get preg that late in your cycle especially if your regular...

I conceived all my boys on top ;)

I hope I am not. I know that must sound awful. DD was a complete surprise and I always wanted our next one to be one that we were "trying" for. But that is comforting to know that you conceived all of your boys on top. I did have a big O and didn't move for about an hour (we were watching shark week haha) so hopefully all of that along with the diet would be in my favor but mannnn I am freaking out over here.

Sometimes the supps can delay O. Not sure what you're taking (if anything), but EPO delayed O for me. If that's the case, it's very possible that you are pg, but don't panic! Diet is more important than timing and position :wink:

Well, the thing is, that if you ovulated late, then you WEREN'T that late in your cycle. If your period hasn't come, you ovulated late. That's the only reason why AF doesn't come - it's becuase you didn't ovulate when you expected it. So if you ovulated close to when you DTD you have every chance at being pregnant. There is no way to know until a few more days have passed, unfortunately.

I am taking triple strength fish oil, prenatal plus, folic acid, and super b complex. Any of those known to delay?

Not that I am aware of...but don't over do it on the B, there's probably lots in your prenatal.

I knew I was pregnant by 8dpo because of all the uterine cramping (even though people on the board tried to tell me it was AF coming smh) it's different for everyone but I don't get bfp until 12dpo earliest.

Update ladies! I am officially spotting so AF should be in full gear by the morning! Thank you so much for all of your input! I am so relived! I want nothing more than to have a good sway behind me so I am excited I am getting that chance!
