I'm so unsure!! I thought I missed ovulation but just got a positive ovulation test!

We abstained for so long and just had sex two nights ago. Protected though but his sperm count will be up. What do I do!!???

You can have him release and then in less than 4 hours actually DTD. I believe that's called CFR. If you are still nervous have him release back to back and then DTD with the 3rd batch. But that might really cut down on actually being able to get pregnant at all. Plus if he's over 35 I think that might be a no no. Or you could just go for it with 1 attempt. Sometimes there is a such thing as over kill. Atomic told me that when I O'ed unexpectedly. Hope that helps and good luck!

You can DTD whenever but I believe it's recommended to wait at least 8 hours after rephresh to actually have a good chance at getting pregnant. Although its totally up to you and what feels right to you. If he's 23 and he feels up to the challenge and you both feel good about it go for it!!! This surprise OPK maybe a blessing in disguise. There is no such thing as a perfect month or perfect sway so go with what you think feels right for you guys. Hope that's helpful! Hopefully some more ladies will chime in to give their advice to so you can really get all options!

PS-I waited 14 hours after using rephresh and we got pregnant DTD once. Plus that gave us a 6 day abstain. Although if you look at the stats frequency/abstain doesn't seem to be a major tactic with great odds. Just wanted to add that info.

Do you think dtd tomorrow night is too late?

I can go off my experience I got a +OPK at 3:30pm and we DTD the next day at 2:30pm So it was about 23 hours after my +OPK. Can you guys DTD in the early morning if you don't want to tonight? Also if you want to get pregnant this
Month it's lowering your odds of getting pregnant if you wait. For me it was our first month TTC so I was ok with not getting pregnant that month so we waited till the next day so if I missed the egg I was ok with that.

I guess if I don't get pregnant I won't be shattered but I'd love to be!

We could in maybe 7 hours but only 8 hours after Rephresh which worries me! Then we both work!!
Seriously I'm so frustrated but last batch of Rephresh so I want to do it.

So him fadiddle himself twice then go in me?

Yes, you can do that or you can wait 8 hours after rephresh or you can just go for it! Either way as long as you feel good about it that's all that matters!

You have got me pumped! I'm just going to do it and see how it goes!! Maybe he should only go once and us use second batch?

I know I'm too late to answer but that scenario is where you could do a hurry up FR - release once, dump it, then DTD again as soon as he is able to using only second batch for insemination

the CFR where he releases 2 and 3 times, is for days in advance of attempt day. The hurry up FR, he only needs to release once and then just have your attempt within 3-6 hours. He's not going to have enough left if you have him release that much right beforehand (altho he is young!!) :)

Well we did it and used the third batch. All in a 60 min period. So there wasn't much left. So we will see! Also put Rephresh in right before, two hours, do you think that could hurt a baby to be?

He also went on top.
Sex hurts me and I could NOT stay on top. But I thought with such little sperm maybe it would not matter which position.

I would not expect to get a BFP this month. It can happen and there are times where people do get pg against all odds, but I just want you to be prepared for a neg.

I don't think the positions make much difference (if any at all.) Do what is best and comfy for you.
