Hi everyone!
Im a mum to 3 girls, 10yrs, 8yrs and 14months, I love all my girls but I never thought I'd be a mum to 3 of them, when I got married I said to my husband I really hope we get at least 1 girl, cause my family thought I'd be like one of my sisters who has boys, well 1st girl came along, I was so happy then 2nd girl came along was a bit bummed, but got over it & Ive got to say I was so content with my 2 girls, anyway quite a few years later I really wanted to try for a boy, so I swayed, changed my diet & got a calendar from the Odan Institute who do a special calendar for you, it tells you to dtd on certain months to get your desired gender, well that failed cause I got another girl, I personally think swaying is a waste of time & wish we did HT.
What really sux is that when ever I see a family with a boy I still get upset, cause I so wanted my 3rd to be a boy, then I look at her and feel soooooo guilty.
Anyway that's me

Hi
I am in exactly the same position lovey. Had 2 girls and didnt give a monkeys. Went on to conceive my third not really thinking about gender. Soon after my 3rd dd was born I felt gd kick in badly. I looked a everyone on the road in the supermarket. Watched out for everyone on the streets and studied their families. Even looked at peoples washing lines it got sooooo bad. Soon started to google and found loads of people in the same position and also to my delight found that u could actually choose the gender of ur child througj PGD. Anyway that slowly made the pain go away and accept my children but the desire still stays and probably will never go away. I have considered PGD but then the expense and multiple attempts scares me. Wish it was available in the UK where I live. Anyhow now thinking about swaying but not just yet.
I have had fortune tellers tell me that I am going to have two boys in the futureand thats by a few. Lets just c. Its very difficult. Whilst looking on this site do u think u have done something paticular to conceive girls?

I think life would be much easier if PGD were available in the UK. Big hugs ladies x x

Absolutely. I would feel so comfortable if this was offered in my own country. I was really excited when I found out that sperm sorting was offered in Leeds. But that stopped way back in 2008. I even wrote to David Cameron about how this would help theuk population and how benefits would decrease ha ha! I wonder if it will be available in the coming years?
How do u think u got ur boys then any tips?
I got my girls directly after ramadhan and abstaining for 30 days and then having one or two attempta before ov. Too be honest I didnt even know what ov was up to now and how that affected gender. Will u b swaying?

Is HT an option now? With the exchange rate, it's a better deal if you're from the UK!

Thanks ladies for making me feel very welcome!
momof3girls that's the only thing I didn't do was dtd on O day, I forgot to mention I also used egg white and doggy position mmm.
desperate4blue that made me laugh cause I also look at other families & when I see a family with 2 girls and they're getting out their 3rd from the car and Im hoping its another girl and then it turns out to be a boy and my face drops, honestly I really don't think there's anything I could have done differently, but there was an article on ladies who have short cycles conceive mostly boys and those who have long cycles conceive mostly girls and mine is long, but who knows??
kittybear I agree, I wish it was in Australia then I definitely would have probably done it but maybe not cause it wouldn't be cheap! And to be honest I relied on 3 psychics who all told me my 3rd will be a boy! Cheri22 was correct but I was already pregnant, and when I got her reply I freaked out cause I really thought it was going to be a boy!
desperate4blue I really hope your psychic is right!
nuthinbutpink your so lucky you actually did PGD and got your boy, Im 39 and I really cant imagine myself doing it again and besides 3 has always been my number and our limit.

Hi nuthinbutpink,
I have just joined here today. Do you mind me asking which clinic you went to for PGD? Currently looking into it also to try for a baby boy. Many Thanks

I went to RBA in Atlanta, GA. They no longer offer GS unfortunately. There is lots of info on clinics in the Member/Private forums.
