We were told that they were 100% sure it was a boy at 13 weeks. We went for an ultrasound today and was told its a girl. They said she still looks swollen because some views looked like a boy still. I have another ultrasound on Friday and then again in 19 days to confirm. Any way possible this could still be a boy somehow?

This was the only shot they got at 13 weeks and they were convinced it was a boy. Its a side shot not a potty shot.

The reason I am skeptical is because the original tech told us 100% boy. This tech said she thought it was a girl but we kept seeing something sticking out the whole time but never could get a still picture of it. I froze some images from the DVD of the u/s and got these. Could anyone tell me if this could still be a girl or could possibly still have a chance of being a boy? I would love a third girl but all of the uncertainty is making it hard to let go of the boy thoughts! Will update in 5 days with new ultrasound!

The original tech was mistaking the nub that all babies have at 13 weeks for a penis. It is, in fact, a perfect girl nub. The protruding bit on your stills you captured is the clitoris which can still be swollen at this point. I'm so sorry the first tech got your hopes up early on :(

Thanks guys!! I know this sounds silly but saying a name and having a baby set as one gender for almost a month makes you feel like you've "lost" them. Guess the shock will wear off and we will embrace more pink!

Congrats on your little girl, I would of loved that to happen me!!! But mine is very obviously a boy, which I can't wait to meet!!!

Im not going to lie, I hope it somehow grows something between the legs before Sept 12! But I have two beautiful girls already and I dont mind adding a third!
