Did anyone else see the two studies published last week saying that coffee is both good for you and then another one saying coffee is bad for you? I'm just wondering what to make of it in terms of swaying. Is there a guideline anywhere? Like 4+ cups a day for pink sway, <3 for blue sway? Part of me wonders if it's like exercise, where you should either go all in or leave it completely, for TTC girl, because of the supposed health benefits. I love coffee but never drink more than one or two, very blonde, cups a day. Any woman I know with 2 or more girls that drinks coffee is a HEAVY coffee drinker. And then I know some girl moms that don't drink any at all.

I agree that is one of the first things I noticed when I was on IG that didn't make any sense, because we had poster after poster who were girl moms and drank tons of coffee. Every heavy caff drinker I know has all girls too. And you were supposed to avoid coffee like the plague for a pink sway.
Caffeine differs from exercise and eating protein and such, because everyone has to do some exercise and eat some protein to stay alive and so little/no exercise can send a signal to your body, whereas little/no caffeine, your body doesn't know any different, it's not made to have caffeine.
I personally believe that no and moderate caff, it's not that they sway blue, it's just that they don't really sway. The natural state of the body is not to have caffeine, so it just doesn't make any sense that no caffeine sways in either direction -- caffeine is not a prerequisite for life *unless you have to answer a lot of gender swaying q's early in the morning, then it most def. is*
There are lots of other things that can sway, and it may be that people who have health/fertility problems that are underlying or are just more sensitive to stuff overall, might avoid caffeine and also coincidentally are preset for pink.

When I conceived both of my girls I was a heavy coffee drinker, 4 cups a day and I even drank it at night! When I swayed for DS I limited it to 1 in the morning and that was it, it was extremely hard

Well this seems like an easy, yummy thing to include in my sway, so...I will increase my coffee intake. I always find that more coffee I drink, the less appetite I have.

I have been wondering about coffee too. I have one cup most mornings (strong) and I love it. Maybe I will have to have two cups a day when swaying or maybe even three :)
