Hi
I am starting to ttc from my next cycle. I had planned on following shettles but since ive read though this I am now adding things to my sway.

So far
I am joining the gym this week
I do the 5:2 diet anyway and never usually eat around 100/1200 cals a day but am cutting down on meat
I am switching to decaff
Skipping breakfast
Ive bought some Rephresh to start from next cycle

I have read about the following but need advice on what amounts to take of these

Cramberry - what sort juice? Tablets? How much>
Whats the asprin for How much for DH?
Calcium - how much?
Magnesium - How much?
Whats licorice root? How much?

Anything else pls advice thanks xxx

Also whens best to dtd

Was going to do it everyday unprotected from finish of af until 2 days before ov. I have bought opks but never had a positive even when I conceived my son x

Welcome Mrs M

The general recommendation on here is one attempt at positive opk (which is usually day before O) if you've got a regular cycle you may be able to work this out without opk's if they don't work for you.

In terms of cranberry, calcium and magnesium these are more part of the in-gender sway and not really used on here

For exercise you either have to do really intense cardio (an hour a day) or not at all - if you're not used to exercise I would take the not at all option (it's easier anyway ) it also depends on how much weight you have to lose and you'd have to eat more than 1200 calories a day.

Have you thought about buying a personalised plan? Then you would have it all set out for you better than what I can explain!

Hope I've helped a little bit though

Hi

Thanks for the reply :) Oh hubby will be mortified at only trying once! He loved ttc for our son ;)

Is that 100% the best results rather than dtd lots? Whats the evidence behind this? V interested to know!

I don't have time today to give a thorough answer but in my siggie below you will find "the complete index" which has alphabetized links in it and the answers to most of those q's are in there. the link can't be clickable for some reason, you'll actually have to cut and paste into your browser
