I took clomid cd 3-7 I believe (I charted it). So far I have had no symptoms. I don't know if it was a coincidence but I was super hormonal and bitchy cd 3-7 on clomid. Is that normal? And now feel normal? I am just worried the clomid does work on me. Waiting to O any day.

It took me till day 18 to ov on both my clomid cycles.
I was certinally more down and depressive about things than normal taking it and it did an excellent job at drying things up around ovulation! I think clomid helped me sway pink and of course my diet! Good luck to you

Started my first pill today! Not looking forward to the 'bitchieness' :whip: I've heard comes with it, specially as DH is very sensitive and will refuse to make babies if I am snappy with him. I will have to monitor my moods or no baby dance for me

Oh and what is weird with an pos opk this morning, I have *NO* ewcm. Must be the clomid right and zyrtec?

You probably already know this but just in case you dont...i think zyrtek and clomid together might be risky in terms of drying you up too much...i found clomid did a good job by itself and atomic always says you need some cm to make a baby. Also i think on clomid its recommended to bd right through ovulation to increase chances of pregnancy since on clomid you dont have months to spare. Atomic has a great essay on clomid on here.
Just thought I would tell you but perhaps you might be choosing to continue with other sway tactics on clomid...its just atomic feels these may make getting preg harder and you then waste your clomid attempts..something to consider! Good luck

I was advised not to use anything else with Clomid as well, so I will drop the creams and potions as Clomid should make you hostile enough to the swimmers, and we do want at least one to win the race, don't we? :) I know some people fall pregnant despite the creams and potions, but not many are 40, like geriatric me here :) Hope you get your BFP very soon sushikitty.

How exciting! Wishing you a very BPF soon. I've heard that if you're swaying pink it should be a one off try. But really, Atomic know infinitely more than me, listen to her, not to me :) Good luck!

there is no normal when it comes to Clomid. some people ahve no reaction, others can't even take it because they can't tolerate it. works no matter what

if you're on the first month, possibly two, on Clomid it can be ok to play with a few sway tactics just to see if you can get pg doing them. The problem is, if you start off first month doing 9 zillion things, then you end up having to drop EVERYTHIGN almost right away due to being on Clomid. So I think it's best to limit yourself even that first month or two, to your favorite sway tactics whatever those may be, so you can have at least a couple months where you include stuff you really believe in and still have a chance of conception while doing that. (hope that makes sense)

One attempt seems to be getting better results than jelly or antihistamine, and also jelly/antihistamine seem to reduce odds of conception by a lot, so my thinking is to leave out the jelly/antihistamine and stick with one attempt and Clomid the first couple months. you up your odds of conceiving while doing the one attempt, which is a better sway than the J/A are anyway. Just doesn't make sense to me to do a kitchen sink sway on Clomid, because after a couple months you have to drop everything all at once. Makes more sense to at least be in wiht a shot of conceiving
