Q for those who took Vitex

Hello everyone,

I took Vitex last month which caused me to O late apeprently and my AF was whopping 10 days late when I already have cycles on the longer side.

My question is, will this get better over time and should I continue taking vitex for my ttc journey?? I can't decide so pls let me know your thoughts.

It may get better, or it may get worse, or it could stay the same. There is no normal when it comes to vitex, unfortunately.

Just to double check, did you stop the vitex a few days before you expected to O?? I would even suggest taking it thru CD 12 and then stopping, even if you don't normally O for several days after that.

Yeah..I took it from CD1 to CD12 last month and only took one pill though.

then I'd prob. just give it a pass, unless you're ok with Oing later (some people want to.)

Since I'm not gonna TTC until later on this year, I'm gonna give it one more shot this month - if it throws me off completely, then I'll stop! Should I take 2 a day though?? does that matter much or should I stick to just taking 1 vitex pill a day from af to o?

if you see results (changing cycle) wiht one, there's no need for two IMO.
