I eat about 1200kcals a day (I lose a pound, sometimes under that a week - hit a plateau) is it necessary to drop extra calories around ovulation? I havent - had about 1150kcals today, but starting to wonder if I should have? I thought if I dropped extra I might not ovulate full stop??

Please do not drop below 1200 calories - that's not enough for your body to function on. Really and truly, 1200 calories should only be consumed every once in a while and not a permanent thing. x

NO never drop cals at ovulation and never ever drop below 1200 for any reason at all.
A sharp decrease in the amount of cals you eat right before ovulation can delay O
