Hi

Onto week 2. Last week I lost 3lbs alongside my 1 hours exercise a day. Onto this week and I have a bad back injury (falling down the stairs will do that to you!) and I can't exercise :(

Now I admit to having a cheat day BUT I am still having well in the guidelines. Skipping breakfast and having on average 20-30g fat and no more than 40g protien but not loosing weight! Cals are averging about 1000-1100 a day. I am 5ft 2in and weigh about 62kg.

Shall I drop to lower cals? My 1st attempt is on Monday! I have always sort of done LE looking back on MFP apart from a weekend cheat so its not that different to my own diet really and I was consuming same calories before so feel no different xx

I'm no expert (sort of a newbie on here, really), but I'm thinking maybe your cals are too low? I know when mine drop too low I lose weight right away, but then it stops as my body goes into "starvation" mode. I'm 5'2" as well, and was a bit heavier than you when I started dieting three months ago. I'm waiting another 3 before starting to TTC just to really give the diet a good go. I've been averaging about 1300-1500 calories per day, and in the last three months have dropped 13 lbs. I tried to stick to 1200, but it was way hard and stressing me out. :) Some days I do dip lower to 1100-1200, but I can't sustain that daily and continue to lose weight.

Oh, and the week I started adding in exercise I lost NO weight, no matter what I did. I think it was just my body freaking at the new activity and hanging onto every ounce of fat it had. This week, I've started shedding pounds again – thank goodness!

Good luck!!!

argh this post got lost, I'm so soryry.

NO do not drop cals!!! You are not eating enough as it is. I do not want anyone going below 1200 cals and if you drop down in cals right before ovulation, it can often delay O.

You are also too low on fat and protein - fat is 25 minimum, and the minimum on protein is 40 g so if you're eating less protein, that is not LE Diet, that is starvation and not a good place to start off pregnancy.
