Is anyone not exercising?? I go walking when I can with my boys and do yoga but I am not doing cardio like I see other girl's doing on here?

Is it a must do???? Will it really help towards my sway?

I weigh 110pds and am really struggling with energy levels on this diet, just don't know if cardio classes 6 nights a week is doable! Does anyone feel the same?

I do yoga twice a week is this ok or is it more like a weight trainig form of exercise??? I do Ashtanga Yoga so it is pretty full on , does anyone do this or know anything about it?? Is it something I should give up??

Help thanks

I really think that yoga would sway boy! That's like power yoga, I did that LOVE it BTW. I'd be so freakin sore after that yoga and sweating more than I do running! it's really tough lol.
I'd just do the opposite of what I did to get my boys honestly, I'm not swaying yet BUT whhen I do I'm not going to exercise at all. I work out like a mad woman and I have 2 boys (Was doing power yoga 2x/wk in addition to P90X and running when DS2 was concieved actually). I plan not to work out. Besides working out revs up my appetite the day afterward and the diet is basically one small step above starvation LOL I couldn't do all the cardio either.

Love your quote about this diet being one small step above starvation, so true!! I feel that if I worked out that I may really waste away to nothing, so I'm taking the lazy way out. Have been on some walks around the neighborhood with DH, but that's it.

PS - I polled the moms of daughters yesterday about not working out, check it out here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?3429-Did-any-of-you-NOT-exercise-before-conceiving-your-DD

Either exercising a lot or NOT exercising at all are what you want for TTC pink. You want your muscles to shrink, so you have to either overwork them or let them melt away from doing nothing (with both strategies, you should be eating a low protein, low cal diet and losing at least a bit of weight, even if it's just a few grams it will help you.) I know it's hard for people to achieve BUT during some parts of my life I was exercising 60-90 minutes a day and eating very low calories - unfortunately I wasn't TTC then - I can testify that it is possible to do.

I don't think power yoga is good for TTC pink because it builds muscle without being very taxing or burning off lots of cals.

Thanks Atomic I am doing the diet as best I can and have lost 4lbs ( I have eaten chocolate here or there I am weak like that ) but overall there has been a little weight lose so that's good right???
Yes I was worrying about the yoga last night and I think your right all girls who have had babies at yoga who go regularly have had boys. I was just saying to one of the other girls that I am stopping as of today AF has arrived and I want TTC this cycle so that means I would of only had a 1-2 week rest from it before DTD.... is it cutting it way to thin??

A bit thin but you know, there never is a perfect opportunity to sway. It's always something. If you want to TTC this cycle I would go for it!!

Oh that's interesting about the people taking the yoga class having more boys. Of course it may also be that women who are into yoga are more mindful about their health at large and also eat very healthfully too!

Losing 4 lbs is great and will def. help your sway. No worries about the choc, it's always something.

Does anybody know if it matters when during the day we exercise? Just trying to figure out where I'll fit it in!!

I just wanted to chime in that I'm not adding exercise to my sway. I do a lot of running around with my 3 boys, so there's no way I can lie around and do NO exercise, but I also feel like I'm running on empty all the time on this diet so there's no way I could add cardio to my routine. Kudos to the women who've managed to exercise on this diet, because I have trouble finding the energy to do the bare minimum I need to do to keep this household running.

That's fine! Do the doable and let go of the rest!! It's much better to know your limits rather than to try and do something that's impossible and run the risk of raising your testosterone.
