Hi all
for those that don't know me, I have two boys age 5 and 7.
For as long as I can remember I have always always dreamed of having a daughter, my own mother died when I was 2 and something has always been missing.
Starting in June 2012 we chose IVF with PGD to make our dreams come true, but sadly over the last year all three transfers failed. We were devastated but it did make me realize I'm not done and wanted another baby. I knew it was a big risk but working with a psychologist we choose to play Russian roulette!
Our last failed IVF was June 6 which then got followed with no AF for 57 days! I started temp charting to see what my cycles were doing and had been pretty good with the LE diet and took vitex and used rephresh twice and hubby did FR. I really thought we missed the mark with my night shifts, last did BD on cycle day 21 and to my surprise my O line shifted to day 23 but I really thought with the cycles being so wonky it was a right off.
Well to my surprise on cycle day 38! So went to my doc who sent me for u/s to figure out dating, by LMP i should be 6w5d but if I go by when I ovulated its 5w5d, but I was saddened today to not be told much, there was a fluid filed area and they thought they could see a very tiny yolk sac so the girl said you're probably really early and just 5w but have you had betas?
So I'm a little worried, especially since we didn't BD at all after day 21...maybe its just a slow/late implanter? Is it true girls do that? I'm trying to start to mentally prepare myself for a boy but I just can't accept that dream is over yet!
Thanks for listening, looking forward to getting to know everyone
and ps sorry if i'm around in spurts, I work full time shift work, have the boys and a business with a big event in 2 weeks!

I would have thought you may see more than just a yolk sac...If you were around 6W, a heartbeat isn't out of the question but it sounds like you really don't know when you ovulated. I hope this baby sticks and all is well! I wish you luck with gender too!
