is it still true not to take L-arginine if youre taking coQ10 bc coq10 has l-arginine in it???

i see that tribulus terrestris is not on the supplment list for DH anymore, but still on it for DW. do we know for sure if it only increases T in women??

how does this list look for DH (he drinks caffeine 14-22oz a day, other than that healthy diet, weight, we have 2 girls conceived one hit wonders (ok sperm/motility). so im just looking to up T, up pH, and up sperm count/motility, and repair damage from caffeine). dh is 35:

b12 150mcg
zinc 50mg
Acetyl L-carnitine 500mg
folic acid 800mcg
l-arginine 500mg OR CoQ10 50-100mg
vitamin E 400iu
MAYBE vit C 1000-1500mg

and for me (ill be 34 this summer, long cycles 31-33days, no spotting probs, no major health/cycle probs, plentiful ewcm, 13 day LPs, conceived both DDs 1st try, drink coffee now but will quit 3-4 mos prior to attempt (oct2011). my goal is to increase pH, increase T, improve quality of EWCM since itll be almost 2 yrs after my last delivery):

prenatal (that has 250mg calcium..cant find a non calcium prenatal, 800mcg folic acid)
DHA (from purified fish oil) 500mg
folic acid 1000mg
zinc (can we take 50mg too? or just DH?)
rjbp 50mg/day

am i missing anything? too much of something, anything not necessary? just trying to get some opinions!
thanks!

Looks excellent!

Maybe green tea too? I think it is a grat thing, it is an antioxidant, improves your overall fertility, increase CM and sway blue. Oh, and it's cheap which is great big bonus  2-3 cups per day is recommended.

Both you and dh can take 50 mg Zinc :agree:

CoQ-10 is my new thing :p so I'm recommending it to everybody. I've read on HT forums that IVF ladies are taking it for improving egg quality and for DH it is great thing too as it improves sperm motility and quality. 100 mg is recommended ( warning: it is VERY expensive :( )

IDK about l-arginine and CoQ-10?

Regarding raising testosterone, oat raises it, so eating oat cereals for brekkie looks like a good idea to me.
TT - IDK, here is why http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?2884-ELP-Viene-Thoughts-on-Tribulus-Terrestris

Gelatine drink is supposed to raise your T and nuts too.

Oh, and I'm not sure about vit C for your dh, esp in so high doses, it might sway pink, so I left it out just in case. CoQ-10 is an antioxidant too and it doesn't sway pink, so maybe that would be the safer option.

First of all huge apologies because I fully intend to write up a more indepth blue swaying supp guide and I haven't had the time yet.

1) If your supp has l-arg in it, then don't take extra l-arg. But co q 10 doesn't have l-arg in it just by itself??? You can take both co q and l-arg, it's just that some supps have BOTH in them.

2) There is so much conflicting info about TT I think it's best to skip it. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?2884-ELP-Viene-Thoughts-on-Tribulus-Terrestris

3)Hubs. supps look great! Again, you can do both l-arg and co q 10.

4) I think your prenatal is fine with the calcium just as it is. 50 mg is on the high side for zinc (your DH is a man and larger so needs more zinc), so I would prob take 20 or 25. If DH has any stomach trouble from the zinc, he can bump down to 20 or 25 also. Everything else looks fine, you can also feel free to add in any phytonutrient-type supps like lycopene if you like, it will only help.

im not sure why buti thought i read somehwhere that green tea wasnt a good then i read the opposite, but i think for me personally for some reason i didnt want to drink it. was it bc of teh caffeine or do you guys drink decaff green tea? maybe bc it has a lot of C and vit C supposedly depletes EWCM? (even tho i read that green tyea HELPS ewcm). or i think it depletes FA??? i dunno. i will prob skip the green tea tho...for now at least!! besids im good with ewcm isnt that what its good for?

is the coq10 only for older men over 40?? any links or info on why its so great???

i doubt dh will eat oats (not a mushy cereal eater) and he says nuts give him headaches (aarrrghhh).
but he ll do the exercises and zinc, and meats of course.

maybe ill do coq10 instead of vitC i just read that vit C decreases cortisol levels which allows for more T.

OH doesnt green tea make more estrogen?? i think thats what i read maybe???

If you don't feel like drinking green tea, then skip it. We are already taking so many things, 1 thing left out - won't make that huge diff IMHO.
It increases CM and and deplets your body from FA - this is 1 of the reasons we should take at least 2000 mcg FA daily.
About estrogenic effect, idk? But from what I know from IG for TTc a boy we want high estrogen, high testosterone and low progesterone. Idk if it's still the case?

Green tea has catechines which are antioxidants and even if it has some caffeine in it, it's very small amount, I'll check it.

CoQ-10: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?1863-interesting-info-about-improving-sperm-count-and-male-factor-infertility&highlight=CoEnzyme+-10
and you can type 'CoEnzyme Q-10' or 'CoQ-10' or 'coenzyme q10' in Search box on the top of the page and you'll get many results.

Now I'm confused about vit C for men  I read on HT forum 1 lady swaying :DD: is giving high doses of vit C to her DH to sway his sperm pink. But maybe she got it wrong?

But no pycnogenol there dang! I cannot find it anywhere.

I can testify that green tea = boys! Not only is it part of the traditional sway AND has a lot of nutrients in it AND increases EWCM, but I myself conceived a baby boy drinking tons of green tea. It DOES totally deplete FA though and my boy I conceived while drinking the green tea actually has spina bifida even though I was taking 800 mcg. You don't need to skip green tea, just up your FA intake (which you should anyway for blue because the salt is bad for FA).

Vit C HELPS EWCM. Viene found this out for a fact a few months ago and it's also on the Fertile CM page, I just read it. I think nutrients across the boards sway blue, of course.

The only reason why ladies give their husbands Vit C (and take it themselves) is for the pH. But pH is the least proved part of swaying.

Hey, with swaying, if all he'll do is exercise and Zinc, it's better than a kick in the teeth!

okay here is my updated list of supps approved by DH:

just looking to up T, up pH, and up sperm count/motility, and repair damage from caffeine). dh is 35:

b12 150mcg (total)
zinc 50mg (total)
Acetyl L-carnitine 500mg
folic acid 800mcg (total)
l-arginine 500mg
CoQ10 100-200mg (whatever is cheaper)
vitamin E 400iu (total)
men's one a day 50+ advantage (a multivitamin that has lycopene, higher selenium, chromium, zinc, and b12 than his regular multivitamin. it has 100mg of magnesium which is what ill have to watch for in his diet tho)

and for me, my goal is to increase pH, increase T, improve quality of EWCM since itll be almost 2 yrs after my last delivery):

prenatal (that has 250mg calcium, 800mcg folic acid)
DHA (from purified fish oil) 500mg
folic acid 1000mg
zinc 25mg (total)
l-arg 500mg (every other day or every 2 days, depending on what it does to my cycle)

any comments?

ps dh drinks moroccan mint tea every night it has green tea, lemongrass, spearmint, and peppermint in it. i know that green tea has less caffeine, but what does peppermint, spearmint, and lemongrass sway????

atomic sagebrush

I think that looks fab!

In dietary amounts, (a cup here or there, even a cup a day) Moroccan Mint tea is fine for blue. The pink swayers drink it several times a day for weeks, for it to have any effect on them.

is that bc of the mints and lemon grass that it sways girls (when drunk many times a day)?

I DK about lemon grass but the mints are believed to lower estrogen and possibly testosterone when drunk in copious amounts. Hmmm...if it really does lower estrogen that would only be good for DH.
