When pregnant with my 4th and final I want to experience going team green and I had thought of not looking to see what the gender was for a couple of minutes after the birth so I could bond with baby before I found out. I just came across this story on another forem and I had to share!

"THEN, my midwife told me this gorgeous story about one of her clients who wanted to ensure she could bond with her baby, irregardless of the gender. She instructed the midwife to put a nappy on the baby as soon as it was born so that she could cuddle/ love / bf the baby for a few hours before ever knowing the gender. I kept imagining how beautiful it would be to love a child for a few short hours with absolutely no gendered expectations."

Wow, how amazing would that be! I am now considering it.

That is an awesome idea, but Im happy to say even though she was not my preferred gender & going through the ugliness of gd, when she was born I just automatically bonded with her.

That is a great idea but I have no where near the patience required for such a process. I will want to know as soon as possible!

I think I could do this. my partner would need alot of convincing though. Knowing him he would think it is a crock of bullsh*t. Also he wants to find out at 20 week scan. We will see!
