Hi
I took B6 in the months leading up to ttc as my LP has been around 7/8 days. I got it up to 10 days at one point but stopped the B6 as heard it swayed blue.
Just had our 1st month ttc and have got af today and a v short LP of 7 days again. Feel so deflated as there is no point me even swaying if a baby has no time to implant. My son implanted at 11 days past ov.
So my question for next cycle is if I take B6 OV - AF will this be ok or sway blue? I think it may be my only chance at getting it long enough to implant.
Not sure if to go the gp or not xx

If you legitimately NEED B6 for your LP and it helps you, please take it. I do not want people taking it just for swaying and many times people have short LP for other reasons and B6 doesn't help them. You need the B6 and it works for you, please take it.
Taking B6 from O-AF doesn't work. It needs to be in your system longer than that and it's NEVER a good idea to stop and start vitamins suddenly.

Thanks
Does it sway blue?
I took it right through last time when I got the few months at 10 days but was hoping it'd do something from ov-af :(
Feel deflated as I bet a doctor will just send me away x

I took B6 for all of my pregnancies, because my LP is naturally on the shorter side 8-10 days. First two were boys (but I am a "boy-friendly" woman naturally). This baby is a girl and I took b6 this time too, but changed my diet drastically. I didn't take a ton of B6 - I think I did 1/2 of a 50mg pill per day for about 2.5 months before conception. The peppermint tea also helped my cycle a lot.

Taking it from O-AF is not enough time to do anything and stopping it again at AF is not safe or healthy and is only going to aggravate your short LP.
I do not believe ANY nutrient in isolation can really truly sway all on its own with the possible exception of Vit. D. I do think that for some people, B6 can sway blue, but that is in people who really don't need it and are only taking it because they are told it has some magic powers for swaying.
