i am in a really awful situation at the moment, as am pg with a baby with placental problems and a severe birth defect. i am due to go into hospital on thursday evening to have the pregnancy terminated. i already have a baby with some problems, he is an identical twin, so i couldnt bring another baby with extra needs into the world. it wouldnt be fair on my existing children (3x:DS::DS::DS:)
anyway, i'm feeling pretty distraught, i dont know if this seems mental but, all i can think about is having another baby, getting pregnant as soon as i can, i feel my baby kicking and i have a massive emptiness.

i plan to sway my heart out next time, its hard going through what i have been through and if i could get my :DD: next time, i would finally feel like my family was complete.

so, i have been researching all the info, the swaying spreadsheet for ttc girl is excellent! i am going to purchase a personalised swaying plan, all the women i have made friends with cant recommend them enough, it seems according to the swaying spreadsheet. abstaining is the most successful, something i have never done before when conceiving my sons, with licorice root for DH, i would probably get him to take a lower dose because he is 36, the LE diet i know is a must, So i'm going to start this as soon as my hormones have died down.

i do wonder on a few things though, any ladies from the uk, what antisthamines do you take? there are two versions of sudafed here, i have a lot of CM around ovulation so would like to dry this out.

for DH, i always ask him to cut down on his :beer: when were ttc, this has obviously swayed boy for us each time!! what would be the better girl sway tipple for DH. beer or wine?! he wont give it up, but will drink one or the other for me!
Is it an idea for me to start drinking? i rarely ever drink dont know if that has had a helping hand in my concieving my boys.

do you think altering ions matter much? if so i think i might buy two salt rock lamps for our bedroom?

then lastly, how much importance do you think vitex or saw p have? i would rather not take supplements like that, i have wonky cycles, sometimes a short lp sometimes not. vitamin b6 got me my twins so i wont take that again....

i'm sorry for the zillions of questions, i know most of these things might be covered in my personal sway plan, but its nice to gain experience of others.

Hello and welcome,

So sorry to hear about your current situation : (

I am noooo expert, but am just about to start ttc and have been researching for a while, so I hope I can help (hopefully other will post their advice too!).

1) I have bought Benedryll and as long as it has Cetrezine (spl?!!), that's the best to go for - Atomic doesn't go much on Sudafed for us ladies. (im in UK too btw!).

2) My Hubby has just turned 36 and he is fit and healthy, so he is on 3x LR a day (only AF-) though ), but others may advise something else

3) Beer is good for Hubby!

4) White wine (red has antioxidents in) can be a great way to get through some empty calories - when you start the diet you might find that you hit the fat and protein limits before the cals, so wine is good for that!

5) I know nothing about ions and I don't think Atomic goes much on them, so Im not including in my sway. Im sure others may know more if you want to include them

6) I think the stats for SP and Vitex haven't been that amazing, and I am on BCP so can't take either. Hopefully someone else can chime in and offer some advice on these

Don't be afraid to ask questions!!
