Is this true? Does is actually have any accuracy to it? I heard it before, then saw it included in the swaying stuff so it got me curious!

I personally don't believe in it, but rainbowflower does and she very kindly keeps the stats and has opted to include it. I don't think it can hurt anything.

I wasn't sure if it was because you're more likely to implant on the left which if you believe in Ramzi theory means girl. But then I thought that the egg and sperm connect before implantation so that would probably not be the whole reason behind it.

There is also some evidence to indicate that left sided ovulations = more girls to begin with, and so my personal thinking is that Ramzi is an artifact of that and has nothing to do with what side you sleep on. I personally think that things sway because they increase odds of survival of one gender baby vs. another and I can't wrap my brain around seemingly arbitrary things swaying gender in any kind of strong way, but I am happy to hear about anyone's theories and to investigate them.

I am a left side sleeper, and I have 2 of each. I was worried about it while swaying for DS2, so I forced myself to go to sleep on my right, but I would always wake up on my left anyway.

Unfortunately doctors don't recommend sleeping on your right side either. this is because of the Vena Cava it is the main vein that drains the entire lower half of the body and that is on your right side and lying on it can restrict its flow which can lead to swelling of lower limbs and also cause hypotension.
I find it so hard just sleeping on my left side even with a maternity pillow every morning I wake up on my back and freak out not knowing how long I have been on it.
