Hi,

I am planning to begin ttc a boy soon. I am trying to raise my ph slowly through diet changes. My weight is 95 pounds and my height is 5' 4". I already have 2 dds. I cant seem to put on weight no matter what I eat. Even if i do put a few pounds I always lose it back and stay around 90 to 97 pounds. Do people like me have any hope of having a boy at all? I would appreciate any suggestions and guidance from anyone.

I have always been thin, and even when I was doing the HE diet I only gained 3 lbs, but I think the weight was added muscle from doing weight training. Are you doing any weight training? Also if you are eating a good amount every 2 hrs you should maybe gain a little if not maintain what you are already at. It isn't really required to gain weight when swaying for a boy, just to make sure that you are keeping your blood sugar level steady. Just continue to eat your protein and carb at every meal and snack and all your servings of fruits and vegetables and you should be good to go. It sounds like you just have a really fast metabolism like I do. My cousin is 90lbs soaking wet and barely 5 foot and she has 3 boys

Yes, you absolutely have hope. Gaining 3-5 lbs is all it takes, and even then there are plenty of people who get boys while losing weight (check out the pink swayers!!!) Weight gain is not a prerequisite, just something that may help a bit.

I have only ever gained 3 lbs before getting a boy!! never more than that.

Thank you very much for your positive replies..! I already feel a bit hopeful now. I have never ever exercised before. I will start weight training by lifting weights asap. I plan to make my body as blue sway friendly as possible before starting my blue sway next year. This is my last chance and I have to give it my 100%.
