Feeling a bit peeved and deflated. :drama:

Was supposed to DTD a few days ago - on the 3rd (I had stuck up a wee thread) and all was good to go...but suddenly my second youngest wasn't feeling too well and we ended up not "performing"!!

We would have been 1DBO...however, we did DTD, rather rapidly at around 730pm the next night (4th) on actual O day.....can anyone tell me if we've still got a chance at BFP?

At this point we don't actually care about whether we swayed or not, just want to know if we missed it?

We are now 3DPO (but 4DPO according to FF??)...so peeved right now, at myself not my wee man - he couldn't help being ill...at wishing we'd done it as soon as he fell asleep rather than going straight to sleep ourselves (we do that cos we know he'll be up most of the night when he's ill so try to get as much sleep as we can lol)

If your one to believe everything happens for a reason, maybe your little man was helping you out to make it the way its supposed to be. Meaning he made you have the perfect timing, at least I hope so for you! Finger crossed!!!!!

I agree with this sentiment 110%. This is something that you need to be open to for swaying pink - the idea that you can't control everything and that maybe the universe/God/Mother Nature is lending a helping hand and that no matter what happens, it's for the best. If you get BFN this month, maybe it was meant to be. If you get BFP this month, maybe you wouldn't have if not for the DTD timing. Pink swayers must learn to give up control and these types of things can be good exercises in saying, "whatever will be, will be". :)

Your replies have cheered me up no end!! Feeling a bit more positive now. I never really cared for timing to be honest, as it evidently didn't work when we attempted Shettles lol just not quite understanding the science behind everything, but had worked out that if my egg only lives for up to 24 hrs divided by the time it takes for the little swimmers to get there etc - really thought there's no chance we caught it, but if it's happened for others then FX - I'm officially in the TWW lol xxx thanks again everyone xxx

You could have released two eggs one several hours after another or you could have ovulated later than you were expecting to.
