Emily is she indeed an 'Emily'? Congrats on your wee girly, my babies are always late too, which is a bit sucky!
Such gorgeous wee babbas!
Funnily enough she isn't going to be an Emily! Sofia suits her better and DH prefers it so we are both happy.

Soar, Mabel and Emily HUGE congratulations on your new arrivals!!
Sorry I've not been around much. We are in the process of moving house, interesting with a newborn. :-) DH is also back at work now. Have to say though that Poppy is a dream, she is such a good little girl and does plenty of sleep at night which we all enjoy!!! I'm so in love with her and the boys adore her too. I feel like she has made us all EVEN closer!!
I know it's crazy but I still can't stop thinking about a fourth, as in I feel more like a fourth is on the cards than not. But I do realise there is a good chance it's just the hormones talking. I do love the thought of not caring about the gender and having another surprise. Well if it happens it won't be for a while. But it's nice to think about and stops me getting sad thinking about never being pregnant again and never having another newborn.
Hope everyone is doing well!

Congrats to everyone else who's given birth! All the pictures are SO sweet! I'm so happy to hear everyone is healthy! I'm not on here much anymore since I've had my 3rd but I keep checking in to see if anyone else has had their babe or not!
Waitingfordaisy - can't wait to hear what your team green baby is!!!

Em I love Sofia! Beautiful!!!
Tree Poppy sounds such a dream. My hubby always said I could have five but he has hinted if this is a girl we could be done, but I kind of like the idea same as you of having a pregnancy without GD if the chance arose.
Blackngold I hope you are doing well, been missing you! Personally I'm thinking big boy boy!!!! But baby will be gorgeous either way!!!
Ah, you never know! We had two u/s techs say "she" "her" and the two times we were at the hospital (one false labor, the other my delivery) both nurses swore girl from HB and everything. So, maybe you'll have the opposite! what DH saw was maybe girl bits!! Either way, they'll be loved! Not sure what I'd do without DS3..he's the yummiest addition to our family ever!

Meeks- that dress is adorable! Great find!
Tree-so glad you are doing well!
B&G-those techs need to be more mindful of gender words they are using. Especially when people are staying team green. But it also sounds like your sweet prince already has you head over heels in love! So happy for you!
My mom leaves tomorrow and then I will have 3 by myself. She has been such a huge help. I don't know what I'm going to do without her! Already getting emotional about her leaving. This has been such a special time!

Thanks Waiting! I like the you can do it attitude!
Today is my first 1/2 day with all 3 children. It's actually going ok! Everyone is taking nap so I think I will do the same after I eat a dessert! :-) Tomorrow will be my first full day with all 3! I am ready to figure it all out so we can get into a routine. I got everyone in the car today for a quick errand and it wasn't terrible. So far DD enjoys car rides that is a major plus and my DS1 is giving me the blow by blow of every noise she makes! He's doing so well with her. DS2 just realized yesterday that baby is not leaving. He is NOT having it but he's also just two so we will see...I'm giving him some more time to get adjusted altho he did smack her yesterday while I was nursing her and said no baby. No baby. NO BABY! He got a time out for that one. Poor guy....I gave him some extra attention today and got him a special lemonade. I hope I'm not creating a monster. Any advice?

I know nothing, but am watching this post and answers closely since this will be me in a month! My ds1 is 4.5 and ds2 is 2.5 and I'm pretty sure ds2 has no freaking idea what is about to go on. He's all excited because ds1 is excited, and says BABY and touches my belly, but the kid has no concept of what that means for him and his amount of mummy time. Then again neither did ds1 when ds2 was born, and we got through it. Ds1 did a lot of poking and prodding ds2 when I wasn't looking (or when he thought I wasn't). I always gave him a time out, and explained why not. We still do that when they get too rough with eachother.
Agree your idea to give him attention when you can is good because that's what he's really saying, I want mum, and baby has her. Go easy on the lemonade or you'll get stuck with that as the official "reward time" thing (we've all been there). Swap it around, do something else he likes, weather it's a fave book, fave DVD, fave toy or puzzle or other semi healthy snack.
This is super easy for me to say because that's what I did with 2, however neither of my boys sleep in the daytime now, and I am yet to birth #3 so the fact you kept them all alive thus far is impressive to me, and I think you are doing a splendid job! Watch me crumble in 4 weeks time.

Thanks Meeks! It's a fine line to walk with my 2 year old! Poor guys world has totally been turned upside down. Before she came we would read big brother books and we would talk about how the baby is his but now he wants nothing to do with her. I think reality has hit and he's not having it at all. Ugh...as long as he doesn't hit her I think I can curb anything else he brings my way. I was shocked when he smacked her! She didn't cry but that was besides the point!
I do need to watch the lemonade. Maybe some more cuddle time before and after nap and another movie is just what he needs! Thanks for the help! :-)

Oh I expected hitting from ds1, he's always been one we had to curb a bit when it came to jealousy and being too physical. But I don't know what to expect from ds2 this time, he's not usually that physical or mean but I know he may become that way with the new dynamic.
Either way it was temporary with ds1, although he did get to the point where I couldn't leave him in a room with ds2 for even 30 seconds to go pee, I had to take one or the other with me. Eventually when ds2 got big enough to move it toned right down.

I know what you mean Meeks! I remember turning my back briefly when ds2 was about 2 months old, he was having a kick on the playmat when he started to scream. Ds1 who is 23 months older had bitten his finger so hard he left teeth marks!
I really wanted ds3 much closer in age to my other two but it's a blessing in disguise having a larger age gap. I know ds2 who is a big mummy's boy would've struggled a lot aged 2. He's adapted well but it took a while. He's quietly affectionate towards ds3 whilst ds1 will pick him up off the mat onto his lap. Thankfully he doesn't try to carry him around though!
I know that for me the bigger age gap upset me before being pg with ds3 but it makes things a lot easier right now. Mind if we were finished now, I'd hate it & it all being a lot harder when they're little together would've been totally worth it in the long run.
But dh amazed me last night saying that ds3 is almost making him broody! Wow, this is coming from the man who fought me on trying for number 3! It's amazing how a change in circumstances can change things around altogether. Our new house is my key to a big family ;)
Meeks you'll be fine & Soar you'll find your feet & forget what it was like only having two :D

EEEEK everyone keeps telling me #3 was the easiest and going from 1-2 was harder than 2-3. Gosh I hope so. I agree though, I have far more skills now than I had with number 1 and 2. I even feel like I'm handling pregnancy better this time too. Dh gets 2 weeks off each time we have a baby but after a Caesarian that's always not enough. I fully expect to struggle for a bit while I heal and can't drive for another 4 weeks. This time is a bit better in the way that my mum has come to stay to mind the boys for the birth and has said she will stay until I can drive so that's amazing. I do get super hormonal after birth though so I hope we don't start to clash, we are so alike and have a great relationship but we do clash if I am tired and hormonal.

I've found the transition from 2 - 3 much easier than 1 - 2!! Poppy is now a month old... Where on earth did that time go? I'm really loving it and fully wanting a fourth. :-)
Soar try not to worry too much about ds2's jealousy, this happened to a few of my friends and they soon after adored their little sibling. My advise would be not to reward bad behaviour but rather to make special you and DS2 time. And if you haven't already perhaps a gift from your dd to the boys? We did that for each new baby. And keep referring to dd as the very special gift mummy and daddy made for ds1 and ds2, tell them how lucky they are to have a baby sister etc... Because they are! :-)

Up feeding the baby at 2:15am and I thought I would come check in! So far she has a pretty good sleep schedule. She went to sleep at 9pm and so did I! DS2 finally asked to "hold baby" tonight after 5 days! dH and I were so happy to see him starting to come around to the baby. DS1 is a dream with her so that is great and it seems like DS2 is starting to come around to the idea that the baby can be a good thing too! :-) so happy for that!
So who's next for a sweet baby? Meeks are you next? February will be here before you know it and then you can join the midnight feedings as well!
Everyone with a baby how is it going with sleeping and feedings?
She is 2 weeks old and I just had her 2 week check up and she gained 8 ounces in 6 days and surpassed her birth weight! So different from my 1st who took a month to get back to birth weight so we were always having to go in for weight checks every week! I guess by the 3rd baby my body decided to get with the program! :-)
Hope everyone is feeling good and staying healthy!

Congratulations on all the new arrivals! I hope everyone is doing well? I am booked in for induction tomorrow at 38 weeks. Having never been induced before and after hearing quite a few negative stories about inducion, I am feeling a little nervous. I unfortunately have a horrible chest infection at the moment too - I dont think I have ever felt so rough. Has anyone here ben in labour when sick? I am guessing the chest pain will quickly be forgotten once things get going. At least I hope so anyway.
The boys are very excited about meeting the baby, ds1 who is 5 has been really sweet and telling everyone he is going to rock the baby when she cries and demonstrates how. Very funny. He has been told he cant pick the baby up alone!
We still havent picked a name, so I will be taking the baby name book to hospital tomorrow and hopefully bybthe time she arrives we may have chosen one. Ds1 wants to call her darth vader.... and ds2 whos 3 has suggested 'the sister or ,'baby'...
In the hospital bag for the baby I have packed a a couple white and blue sleepsuits just in case baby turns out to be a boy, has anyon else done this? My husband thinks I am nuts because 4 scans have all said girl...

I think it must be pretty hard for them to deal with a new addition taking up mummy's time. The one good bit of advice i have been given is - not to go running immediately if the baby starts crying when i am with DS1 or 2. If they still need me after a minute then say "i'll be back" then pick up the baby and rock her whilst still talking to and focusing on DS1 or 2. If she needs a feed or nappy change then explain to her (for the boys benefit) that we are going to change her / feed her next to DS because they need me too.
The gift idea didnt work for us this time as both boys have birthdays in January and are having a second Christmas with their other grandparents next week! Havinjg said that, I did put by a few presents from christmas so that they would have something to open everytime someone gave the baby a present.
Hopefully you can see her here16393
1984 - not crazy at all:) we had white babygros in the bag and a back up boys name!

2 weeks to go for me!!! My boys were boofers and I remember ds2 was past his birth weight before we even left hospital, bahahahhaa. He still loves his food. Ds1 I have no idea, his birth and much of the first few months are a blur. I wonder if or how my girl will be different. Fingers firmly crossed for her to be healthy and not have allergies like ds1.

Just checking in!
We're going on 6 weeks tomorrow! Cape is doing awesome and the boys absolutely LOVE him! We had SUCH a hard time with DS1 when DS2 came along. I literally thought my child was psychotic because he'd take hour long tantrums in his room screaming, banging and kicking like crazy like crazy and there was nothing we could do to console him. He was 22 months at the time. He's probably the most social child on the planet and literally cannot play on his own for 5 seconds, so losing mommy to a younger siblings was so so hard on him. This time around he's doing amazing and so helpful and loving. That's obviously largely due to his age now (4). DS2 is a way more independent child and isn't even phased by his little brother. He'll come for kisses and to cuddle him if he's crying the odd time but other then that, he doesn't even notice. It has so much to do with their personalities and DS1 and DS2 are complete besties now so it was very temporary when looking back.
Hope everyone still pregnant is feeling good and holding up well in these last few weeks! So excited for you all!!! xoxo

All these sweet babies! How did we ALL manage to have the cutest babies on earth? We are very lucky mamas! Hope everyone is feeling good without sleep! We are up for our second feeding of the night, She stretched to almost 4 hours its 4:09am and I am wide awake because she let me sleep so long! Bahahaha! I guess my body only needs 4 consecutive hours these days! Haha! Obviously not but you get my point of wacky sleep patterns right now!
Keep those sweet baby pictures coming ladies! We do have the cutest babies and we need to celebrate that!
I'm off to try to sleep some more!

Ooh all of these babies are just so exciting! Meeks, our baby will arrive 2 weeks from today. I am still nervous about a 37 week baby and the csection, though you ladies have calmed me down a lot about that, but so excited and feeling ready to meet baby. With a complete previa, we are just so thankful that we made it to 35 weeks...2 more uneventful weeks for us would be WONDERFUL!
Congrats to all of the mama's with their babes already and I cannot wait to hear more news from everyone else! We are ALMOST THERE!!!!!

How exciting! 10 days until my c-section (@38 weeks). I was nervous last week, feeling more excited now. I'm sure the nerves will set in again later but there's no real reason for them, only that I would prefer to be in "control" and in labour myself, but like you there is no choice and I know c-sections have super controlled and manageable risks these days. After having a great one with ds2 you would think I wouldn't be nervous but I think I just worry about all the normal things all mums do, like baby arriving safe and healthy, and just general operation-on-me jitters.
Can't wait for her to be in my arms!

Hi ladies,
Just checking in. Glad to hear you are all well. GL to Meeks, onthepond, and Waiting4Daisy! Waiting, if you always go late, and I go early, I may have my little man sooner! I'm thinking 2-3 weeks to go. He could prove me wrong, but I would be shocked! We'll see.
I'm doing ok, ready to be done being pregnant, but not sure if I'm ready for another baby. It's DS3. He is SUCH a handful right now, I just don't know how I'm going to manage it all. My older two will be fine, but honestly they fight so much, I am constantly playing referee. They also still like mom to get stuff for them...I'm thinking I'm just going to have to tell them they will get their own snacks and drinks and blankets, etc., and also just let them duke it out with the fighting! Lol. As you can see, I am nervous about this transition! Since we are moving soon, we did decide to keep DS3 in his crib, and just keep baby in the pack & play. That will help tremendously with bedtime and naptime, so at least I will keep my sanity where that is concerned. No DS3 getting out of bed (for now at least). When we settle in our final place, we'll set up the nursery furniture for DS4, and that's when we'll transition DS3 to his big boy bed.
We are still in limbo about our move...DH's new work team want him there ASAP, but the HR end of things is being slow in processing all the paperwork, etc. So because baby is due so soon, we probably won't get our house on the market till after he's born, and in our price range, houses are moving a little slower...like 2-3 months. So, looking potentially like summer before we move. I hate not knowing, but I kind of have to accept it.
Anyway, that's my update, I hope you are all well!

Wow Rainbow you are super close too!!! For what it's
Worth DS2 is very much a
Baby even tho he is 2
And I was very worried about the transition bc I hold him all the time and well baby him way to much! Anyway after a rough 3 days he has totally come around and wants to be the big helper like his big brother! So there is hope!!!! Now the fighting....I try to let them figure it out as much as possible. :-) They do much better when I stay out of it altho sometimes that's easier said than done when they are screaming mine no mine mom he won't share mom mom mom he took my car, mom mom mom! So I totally hear you on that! The move is going to be so awesome for you guys. Bummer on timing but we did that exact same
Thing when DS2 was 3
Months old! Started showing the house and it wasn't as bad as I thought. Not easy but also not terrible! Crossing fingers you sell your house lightening fast!!!! Keep us posted on your sweet little mans arrival!!!! :-)

I can so relate to this post. Our ds1 is being really good lately (usually our "challenging" child) and ds2 is being a typical 2 year old, but its just recently gotten worse, and hes 2.5 now, also easily as big as our ds1 who is 4.5, and almost as heavy (16.5kg). Hes been such an easy kid I knew it was bound to happen eventually, but its terribly inconvenient when 37 weeks pregnant in 40+ degree (Celsius) heat and hes throwing a tantrum, turning into liquid man on the floor and refusing to get on the changing table (hes also refusing to toilet train, but i'm just ignoring that for now, enough is about to change with baby arriving and ds1 starting kinder). I AM SO OVER BEING PREGNANT TOO! But also a bit scared for the caesarian recovery, given its a good 6 weeks of pain and at lest 4 weeks not being allowed to drive. Its going to be "interesting" dealing with ds2's tantrums with all that going on. I am extremely concerned about the transition period.
We are also in the same boat re planning our future and where/when to move. DH finishes qualifying as a builder mid this year, after spending 4 years retraining at a mature age. When he finishes his current work will offer him the same deal they offer all guys that qualify, and its not a stable or good deal. So we are planning to move on, and move closer to the larger town/small city near us. BUT that depends on him finding a better job than the one he'll be offered here, and at the right time, in a place that would be commutable from the areas we would want to and be able to afford to live. Its killing me to not be able to plan where, when, budget etc. Mid year we will have a 4 month old, and 3 and 5 year old, and we want to move asap after that because ds1 is going to be in kinder this year then first year of primary school next year, and I would prefer to be able to give him at least a few months in a new kinder getting to know the kids that will be going off to school in the same area. Or at the latest i'd like him to start school where we plan to be, not start here then move. Its a big enough jump starting school when you havent moved!
So anyway, that was long winded but I meant to say I completely identify with whats going on for you guys and wish you all the best!
To make things fun, dh has done a number on his back, and cant lift much at the moment, which should be SUPER AWESOME when it comes to me having a caesarian. NOT

Meeks I congratulated you on the other post but have to congratulate you again. Lexi is just gorgeous!!! And also so sweet and small. Poppy was 8lbs 8oz! The boys were also 8lbr's and bigger than her!! I make chunky ones irrespective of gender!!
Waiting4Daisy how exciting!! Good luck and can't wait to hear what you have!
Onthepond have you had your LO yet?
As for us, Poppy is 8weeks old now, smiling, cooing, and just a utter joy! Her big brothers still adore her and always want cuddles and strokes. Honestly I'm just loving it. The only sad thing is how fast she is growing, she is out of her newborn clothes now and the 0-3 months bits are getting a bit tight. So who knows maybe I'll be back and swaying pink again in a year... :-)
Good Luck with the babies to come and all the tired Mumma's. I will check in more regularly now. Perhaps for the night feeds. :-)

So lovely to hear how you are going Tree! Nice to hear about life with a 8 week old, it's like I forget each time.
Lexi is only a week and a half and already I both can't wait until she's slightly more robust, and also don't want her to grow up, as she's my last. I'm a bit scared of the boys being rough, although they always try to be gentle, ds1 was doing flips on the couch while I was feeding today, and ds2 keeps hearing baby cry from her bassinet (in the corner of our lunge room currently, then I move it into our room at night) and saying "STOP, mummy, I grab her" and rushing off. So I have to get up fast when she cries as there is no way I trust my 2 year old to pick her up!!! Haha it's cute he cares so much though.
Having trouble explaining to ds1 about breastfeeding, I'm in pain and trying to hide it but he sees me wince when she attaches (cracked nipples from before my milk came in, she's attaching right but they are healing slow) and let me tell you I'm toning it down in front of him because all I want to do is scream and beat my foot against the floor for the first 30 seconds until the pain settles. Urgh I hate this part of feeding. Although she has been feeding far better than her brothers did so I'm still feeling confident I can stick it out. Fingers crossed.
How is everyone else?
Tree
February 14th, 2014, 08:23 AM
Meeks, nipple shields for the nipples!! They saved my nipples with my boys and I only had to use them for a day to let my nipples heal.
We have Poppy in her bassinet inside a travel cot so she is protected. We did the same with ds2 to protect him from ds1. It works perfectly and I'd be utterly exhausted without it as the boys always want to cuddle her or share toys etc...

Tree-so glad you are having so much fun with her!!!! And that the boys are adjusting well too! Exciting for a possible 4th!!! :-)
Meeks-I remember that pain! This time mine were sore until she was 15 days old and then I could stop stomping my foot every time she latched on the right side! Ahhhh it hurt so bad! But now we are doing great and I know you will too!
We are having so much fun with Bella too! We had the boys valentine parties at their preschool and it was so fun to get her all dresses up and watch the boys receive all their friends cards and candy! When we got in the car the boys were looking through their valentine bags and she was asleep and I had a moment where I thought it doesn't get any better than this!.3 children altho a lot of work are such a blessing! We are very lucky mamas! We are going on a quick dinner date tonight since she is 6 weeks! Hoping grandma is ready for 3 for a couple of hours!
Happy Valentine's day mamas! Have a great day!

Hi ladies, just checking in! Can't believe nearly all of our babies are here now. My beautiful boy is a dream and I'm truly very lucky as he fits in to our crazy schedule without a whimper! Logan is 7 weeks old today and humongous! He's put on TWO kilos since birth (sorry, not sure what that is in pounds). He's in 00's already. It's sad that I'm putting clothes away for the final time. My 2 big boys are crazy-mad-in-love with him. I feel like we have a family now, with 3. I'm so happy that they all have each other and having 3 brothers is a gift that my husband and I have given them for the rest of their lives.
I still feel very sad that I'll never have a daughter, I think about it all the time. But I wouldn't trade my 3 perfect little men for anything!!!!! Just wish this last pregnancy was twins - my baby boy AND a baby girl. Anybody else feel like this?
Sorry to bring GD into this thread, it's the only place I can be honest about my feelings - I've been putting on a brave face and fending off some insensitive comments about having 3 boys for 7 weeks to the day.
Loving all the pics and stories of your bubs! Will check in to see who's next! X

Ahhh, we are all so lucky and so thankful!!
Am3a it's hard to let go of any dream, even when what you get is so much better. I had geared myself up for hearing boy so much that a part of me was sad not to have a fourth boy. Funny huh! And then I saw this video the other day (I will find it and post) that I just thought was so cool. We love the idea of having both genders because in a way we have it all. But actually we don't. There is something so amazing about having all the same, like a little tribe. And having all boys, I don't know, there is just something so special and totally cool about that!! I know you will always think about that dream and that's ok. I guess ultimately what we have and treasure in our children and eachother is character and this is not determined by sex. X

Waiting, Tree and Am3a I can totally understand and relate to your feelings and thoughts on GD. I had also geared myself up for a boy so convincingly that even after swaying my heart out for a girl for 18 months I STILL felt a sense of loss when I realised getting my girl had meant I felt a little disappointed at not having a "boy tribe" of my own. I have no ability to explain why I felt this way, I soooooo desperately wanted my girl, but had been so convinced it would be a boy I had invested in that picture of my future. Strange I know!
So I think having all boys is cool, but can also completely understand thinking about that girl dream often. I agree this is ok, and totally separate to how anyone feels about their existing boys.
I am feeling much like all of you, so appreciative to have my little bundle here, and very very nostalgic knowing she is our last. I can't imagine putting away baby clothes for the "last time" but am equally certain this is our last. I can NOT go through birth again!!!!

Waiting - Aahh, still preggo, huh? :) I don't know, I kinda think you're having a girl! I guess you'll know soon! Really, they only induce when you're 12 days overdue? The philosophy must be very different here in the US. My doc wanted to induce me at 39+6, but I actually requested to not be induced till 41 weeks! Got it on the books for 40+6, which is March 3rd. But I have never gone over, even once! Anyway, I really hope you get your girl, but of course a part of me hopes you have DS4 so I can have a partner in crime going for #5! :) If it is indeed Ds4, do you plan to sway for #5? I am not. Just leaving it up to God, except for some minor diet changes that I actually think helped my fertility (lower fat, lower sugar). Would love to have an "oops" and not actually be trying at all, but that of course has NEVER happened to me, so I have my doubts that it will work. Had a friend who lost one of her ovaries over the weekend...it had cysts on it and got so twisted in there they couldn't save it. Makes me think we shouldn't wait for it to "just happen", especially at my age (36, 37 in April). Ugh, we'll see what happens. I'm so ready to NOT be pregnant, I can't imagine being pregnant again! Anyway, can't wait to hear your news, and my fingers are crossed for a pink one for you!
Am3a - Glad you're loving your little man...what a sweet thing it is to have 3 boys! I still get lots of insensitive comments about my 3, and of course am bracing for it with boy #4. Most people have actually been pretty nice about it, but some of course can't keep the negative comments to themselves. But those comments are relatively few and far between.
AFM - I am 38+5 today, had DS3 at 38 exactly, so feeling like "What's the holdup??" DS2 was born at 38+6, so I am hoping sometime in the next day or two. Nothing indicating that it's imminent, though! If I make it to Wednesday, I will be interested to see if I've dilated any further at my doc appt. Will keep you all posted!

Waiting - I was so coming on for an update assuming you had to of had baby! Hope you are currently in labor right now!
I totally hear everyone of the GD thing. We had DS#3 (he was a team green baby). I just knew I'd likely have another boy because I already had 2 but if my life was on the line and I had to of taken a guess I would have said we were having a girl. I didn't have a single person think it was a boy - doctors and nurses included. I was so sure.. but then he was born and I saw boy parts. DH and I still talk about that moment 2 months later. I was stunned and had this sinking feeling in my stomach, but at the same time I started crying because I was completely overjoyed he was a boy! I had so thought it was going to be a girl that I knew I would "mourn" the loss of the boy idea. It was like I would have been a little upset either way! Very strange to experience so I completely understand what all of you are saying!!
meeks32
February 18th, 2014, 06:04 AM
Dh was handing me baby tonight after we bathed her and looked at her all wrapped up in her towel and shook his head saying "I still can't believe we got our girl". I think it is still sinking in for us. I have stopped calling her "he" now, which is good! But occasionally open her nappy and get a surprise when I realise it's not boy bits! I guess babies look similar at the start and I still have the boys in mind as they are all I know!
Agree there is a small sense of loss with the last no matter what!

Hi ladies - it's me! Sorry for the long delay - we are still living on cloud 99 after a successful delivery of Baby Beckett! He joined us 2 weeks ago and the csection was a BREEZE - so thank you to those of you who calmed me down about that :) Honestly, I never took any narcotics, only ibuprofen for a few days after and I was up and walking about 7 hours after csection, got my catheter out then and we were able to be discharged a full day early. HOORAY!
Our placenta previa, vasa previa, bedrest, csection, 37 weeker was born weighing a whopping 8 lbs, 1 oz HEALTHY, HAPPY and we honestly are just so, so thankful to my doctor and the medical team for taking such great care of us. There were 4 surgeons in there total (because of vasa previa) and I did experience a lot of blood loss, but honestly, things couldn't have gone better and he was medically ready to come out which was a huge fear for us.
CONGRAUTLATIONS to all of you! We made it ladies! I so much appreciate all of the support and encouragement I received from all of you. This was honestly a tough time in our life and every day I felt like a ticking time bomb but we made it. He is here. And him and mom are healthy and happy!
Good luck to all of you with all of the days to come :) Enjoy those baby snuggles, they all grow so quick!

Well, Waiting, our #4 boys share a birthday!! Congrats, he is gorgeous!
First contraction was at 4 am on the 19th, thought things were going to really go from there, but it all died down and wasn't sure when he was coming...but it picked up and was very consistent from 1pm on. They couldn't break my water at the hospital till I'd had 4 hours of antibiotics due to +GBS, so waited till then and I was 6-7 cm at 10:30. Broke my water and went from there to 10 in just a little while...pushed 3 times and he was here! Born Feb. 19th at 11:50 pm, 7 lbs, 2 oz, 20 inches long. He is gorgeous, and perfectly healthy...we are so blessed! His name is William David, after our dads.
I had an epidural almost immediately after getting to our room, so labor wasn't too bad...although it wore off towards the end and I was still hurting pretty badly. I must say I do get very intense contractions, even early on, so epis are a must for me! Anyway, I did tear a labia (eek), so a little more sore than typical, but overall doing just fine!
Mathilde, good luck...can't wait to hear your news!

Wonderful....another sweet baby boy is here!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, Waiting, our #4 boys share a birthday!! Congrats, he is gorgeous!
First contraction was at 4 am on the 19th, thought things were going to really go from there, but it all died down and wasn't sure when he was coming...but it picked up and was very consistent from 1pm on. First mother and daughter shopping trip done.....ok, we did not getting any shopping in the big city, but we attended her specialist appointments and tests this last week. Do you all remember the 3% vs the 97%? It is safe to say that she is one healthy baby from that perspective, but the kidney and bladder concerns are still there. She will be on low dose, long term antibiotics in the hope that we will prevent infection for the kidneys as the bladder refluxs to both of them. There is talk of surgery once she is a year old, but that will be hinged on more follow-up u/s and tests this summer. She is truly amazing and I just am enjoying my last baby to the nines!!!!!

Congratulations all!
I have a question and I wasn't sure where to put it. I'm trying to get ahold of Atomic cause I'm not sure how pressing this issue is.
Anyway, Just found out last Tuesday that I am pregnant. The dr will be prescribing me a prenatal in a few days.
I take 400mcg frolic three times a day since last summer. I'm trying to understand how this will work. When I start taking the prenatal which will most likely be at night before bed how do I work the folic? Right now I take one before breakfast, at lunchtime and around dinner time. If my prenatal is 500mcg? 600mcg? Or 800mcg? Do I just drop a folic at dinner? We are to take the Same amount of folic as we have been right? Since mine is 1200mcg total I would drop one or two and where?
