I know I read that sunflower seeds raise testosterone. Just found out today that my husband has been eating them at work for past two weeks. I ovulated last weekend so out attempts have already been done for this month. I know during the 2ww I myself, am having a really difficult time trying to stay on le diet. I usually have no issue skipping breakfast any other time of the month but for the past two mos I've had a really difficult time skipping a meal and I can't stop craving sugary snacks! Is thus typical after ovulation? I feel like a bottomless pit! Lol. So between me and bad habits and DH eating sunflower seeds for past 2 weeks, I feel like if I get a bfp this month, I'm destined for a boy and not a girl. Anyone know how much sunflower seeds raise t levels in a man?

You will find something on line that tells you pretty much everything "raises T" but eating one food just can never DO that much. The studies and stuff that show that, are either very concentrated forms of particular foods, or else things that say "zinc can raise T and so sun seeds have zinc, so therefore sun seeds must raise T". It's IMPOSSIBLE that eating a food as a part of a normal diet, is magically causing boys or girls to be conceived...if that were true, the entire human race would have died out long ago or at the least there would be some isolated tribe somewhere that had way more girls or boys based on some food they eat. But nope, about 50-50 from pole to pole and thruout history.

Thank you for clarifying that for me. Just wondering bc I'm a bottomless pit once ovulation occurs but the rest of the month I can skip a meal or two in a day. Is it the progesterone that is causing me to feel extra hungry after ovulation? I never picked up on this until last month after ovulating and it is happening again. Thanks for your help with this thread and my other thread about my bbt and elevating temps. Appreciate it.

oh I missed the second question, yes that's totally normal. Not sure if anyone really knows why. There are a lot of us who have no prob. sticking to diet from the end of AF thru O (a lot of women are also very hungry while on AF) but then all hell breaks loose around O. :)
