Hi! I was just wondering how often cardio is recommended...I read at least an hour a day 6 days a week....what's the lower limit? I don't think I can find that much time with two little boys (I feel sooooooooo guilty...)
Also, how strenuous? A brisk walk, moderate walk? How much do I need to get my heart pumping?
I'm currently doing yoga 1 hour a week (I know that's not the most ideal exercise...)
What sorts of exercise are people doing....?

Hello,
Yes that is the recommend amount, but I think its more important to stick to the hour+ rather than the amount of days. It just has to be intense for YOU. It can be a fast walk, jog, zumba, skipping etc (cardio not weights/muscle building)- anything that gets your heartbeat up for an hour. After 45mins your body starts eating into its own resources (muscles) and that is what sways pink. Anything less time is more building muscles (boy sway). I am in the same boat and struggle a bit as have two little ones at home. I have to go early in the morning or wait til hubby comes home. It has pretty good results though, so well worth it if you can.
Hope that helps!x

Oh sorry I started to answer thes and then got interrupted.

The 60 6-7 recommendation is just waht I think is going to work for most of the people most of the time. There are several people who did get girls with less exercise, but like Jen points out I think the 60 minutes is more important than the 6-7 days a week, so if you can keep the 60 min, even possibly 4-5 days will be enough.

You do need to be extra careful to be good on diet, however. Mod. exercise with a boy-friendly diet can sway blue.
