Please take a look at my ultrasound and let me know what you think! It was done at 7 weeks and was trans vaginal...although I read that whether it was trans or abdominal doesn't make a difference for the orientation?

You're right. Transverse is mirror image no matter the method. I can't make out the placenta at all. Do you have anymore pics? If I had to guess, I would say maybe I can see something right of pic. Which means girl.

Thanks for your reply! I do have a couple other pics but they are just zoomed in versions of this one :/ I meant to ask the tech where the placenta was but forgot...we had an u/s at 6 weeks and it just showed a sac so when we had this u/s and everything looked good I was just overjoyed with that and totally forgot to ask about the placenta location.

I am a newbie but I would guess boy. It looks like there is a yolk sac on the left which is likely where the placenta will form. Since it's transvag, then that corresponds to the right side of the uterus which equals boy.
