Could this have screwed my sway up?

We conceived in August and for several months before we conceived I followed a pretty "girl" diet. I normally don't drink at all but the week before we conceived my cousins were visiting and we went out several times and I drank a lot (by my standards)...I have read that alcohol sways blue (?). My cousins are big into drinking so we went out and got fairly intoxicated a few times...literally only happens to me a couple times a year, if that. DH also had much more to drink than normal during the days before we conceived.

Also, my low(ish) cal diet also went out the window that week...we walked a lot because I took them sight seeing but I did not pay attention to what I was eating at all and I'm sure all the cals in the alcohol didn't help either. Do you think drinking the week before/changing my diet ruined my sway?

We are thrilled to be pregnant because the timing could not be more perfect and obviously just want a healthy baby..that being said I would be even more thrilled if the sway worked.

I drank while swaying pink and am having a girl. I don't think a few over cal days would be enough to undo all your swaying. Good luck and congrats on your BFP.

Thank you! I probably fell off the bandwagon for at least a week or more before we conceived. Had a friend look at my early u/s for a ramzi guess and she said it looks very boy...she's good at reading these and is hardly ever wrong so we shall see! I can't wait to find out one way or another!

unless your friend was doing the scan I wouldn't worry about the ramzi guess - the technician could have flipped the image over on the screen so you have no idea if right on the picture is right or left

it's the trend that matters, I'd try not to worry/think about it

:) Thank you. She def. didn't do the scan. Is there anyway to tell from the pic that the scan is flipped? I have one pic form my first born that has the wide part of the scan at the top and the narrow part on the bottom...if that makes any sense. This scan is reversed. I've always wondered if that means one of these pictures is flipped.

I think alcohol can sway pink and got my girl while indulging after 4 boys where I never drank, so no worries there. On the diet front, that's something that is pretty individual to each of us, and I can't tell anyone, yes that was ok or no it wasn't. Perfect sways produce opposites and crappy ones work every day, no real rhyme or reason to it other than luck.

unfortunately no way to tell, and the shape of the uterus is partly down to the way they're pushing on it. I honestly wouldn't worry about it
