Here's a not-very-well written article about the origins of "traditional Chinese medicine". PLEASE only use herbal products that have been studied and shown safe in actual studies. A lot of this stuff that is said to have thousands of years of Chinese history is really just a marketing campaign by Mao Tse Tung to export herbal remedies to other countries.
